We’re so glad you found us. At Bickley Barns we’re here to provide you with the perfect rural setting for your wedding.
From classical country weddings to festival bride vibes, we provide the blank canvas for a spectacular day. With a marquee nestled amongst the picturesque countryside close to Bristol and Bath you’re in good hands.
Bickley barns is a family run wedding destination on the grounds of our home and we can’t wait to share it with you. Our team can help you plan your wedding and we’d love to hear from you so that we can show you around.
ABOUT THE VENUE
Bickley barns is a sophisticated marquee wedding venue with style, charm and space. Set amongst 22 acres of rolling countryside Bickley Barns is surrounded by the impressive 300 year old barns offering bags of character.
This unique venue is located in the Bristol countryside but is a mere 20 minutes from Bath providing a relaxed ambiance within a stunning setting, yet it has easy access from two cities. You’ll be given exclusive use of the venue to personalise to your own taste, creating a memorably bespoke wedding.
OUR MARQUEE
With a daytime capacity of up to 120 day guests and an additional 30 evening guests you can hire full use of the grounds and our 20 x 12m marquee, including 15m panoramic windows with far reaching views of surrounding hills.

The owners of Bickley Barns were incredibly helpful from start to finish, including the planning stages, setting up the venue the day before, being available on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly, and clearing up at the venue afterwards. Where to start with our review for this venue?! Everything about our wedding day was absolutely perfect & we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Every base was covered & we couldn’t have asked anything more of them. Our friend styled their very first wedding and as soon as we saw the pictures, we knew We had to check it out. This was before we even realised it was just 15 minutes from our house. I got in touch and arranged to visit, the marquee wasn’t up but we had seen it clearly in photos, we got a feel for the grounds and spoke with Jen about our vision and their terms and we booked a date there and then. Jen was super professional and helpful but also relaxed, we wanted to have our actual ceremony there (celebrant led) which they hadn’t had anyone do before, but she was sure as well as we were, that we could make it work. We hadn’t viewed any other venues but we knew Bickley Barns and the team there was a perfect match for us and the laidback wedding we’d been dreaming of. I loved that we could pretty much do whatever we wanted. We had complete autonomy when choosing the caterers, stylist, celebrant, layout, entertainment etc. I had regular contact with Jen throughout the planning stage, she was easy to communicate with and got excited with us which was so nice! She was super organised and made sure we had every last detail covered. Our big day at Bickley Barns was perfect! Jen and Teresa were angels on the day, and by this point felt like friends. The grounds looked so beautiful, and everyone commented on how much they loved the venue. The whole day ran so smoothly and everyone (including me) was so happy and relaxed. We had the best day ever! Many guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Bickley Barns is a rare gem especially this side of Bristol, and we can’t recommend them enough.We got married at Bickley in August 2022.
