Best Western West Retford Hotel

Would like to thank all the staff of the West Retford for a truly unforgettable day, all our guests said it was the best day ever. From start to finish these guys really looked after us from the wedding planners we met from our first meetings to Audrey and Natalie leading us through our day nothing was too much trouble. And the photos have given us some beautiful photos to treasure forever! There's no wonder they win award after award, year after year, so thank you ladies you were amazing.

We got married at this fantastic venue 10yrs ago so I thought it would be nice to go back for our anniversary. I was in communication with Jessica and she arranged everything for me from the champagne and chocolates to the fantastic room and everything in-between. It was a surprise for my wife and she was thrilled.

We got married on March 24th this year and I have to say the West Retford both the staff and the venue are the prefect location. All the staff were more than helpful right from the pre wedding preparations to selecting favourite tunes at the end of the evening. Great compliments about the food. I really like that you have room to spread out whether it is outdoors or the large indoor facilities. Jessica the wedding planner at the hotel was great at keeping us on track. Would definitely recommend the West Retford

Popped in to make a booking for festive lunch for 3 person's. Fully booked in main restaurant but fitted me in another bar area. Perfect. The lady in reception made me feel so special. Love this place. I always feel that it wraps it's arms around me when I go through the door. This is so important to me at this time whilst I am grieving. Thank you to all the staff Judy

The west Retford hotel went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wedding as possible! We had a few slight hiccups with mistakes from other people for dressing the wedding but the staff at the west Retford hotel did everything to make sure that this did not ruin our day and still made sure it was perfect! Thank you so much couldn’t recommend this venue enough!

What an absolute beautiful hotel. Off the main road you wouldn't expect to find this hidden gem. We stayed in the Georgian quarter which was absolutely stunning. If you're lucky enough to stay in the room on the first floor which had no number next to 29 then you are in for a treat. It was like it had been frozen in time. Beautiful oak panelling with the most beautiful 4 poster bed I've ever seen. Just wow.

We wanted our wedding to be very special (both in our 70’s) and the Best Western West Retford Hotel proved to be the ideal venue. We went for the afternoon tea as we could not make our minds up for the hot meals and we made the perfect choice. It was fantastic, the quality was exceptional and everyone thought the same. There was so much food and the service was wonderful. I would highly recommend this choice you will not be disappointed. Everything was made perfect for our special day, would I recommend, most definitely, do not hesitate, book now, you will not be disappointed.

Came to attend a friends wedding, lovely location brilliant weather. Everything was well organised and the meal was really tasty. The garden is well tended with plenty of room to move about.
