The hotel has a contemporary feel whilst maintaining many of the original feature. For the bride and groom, we are pleased to offer a complimentary Club Executive bedroom with dressing gowns, luxury toiletries, etc.
Facilities and capacity
The team can accommodate a small intimate occasion, a seated wedding breakfast for up to 120 guests or a Wedding Buffet for up to 200. If you have any specific questions or requests, the team will go out of their way to help in any way they can.

The dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will discuss with you your personal requirements and can offer you expert guidance to assist in making your special day a truly memorable occasion. They will help you every step of the way, they will be a huge help.
Come along to our Wedding Open Day on Sunday 22nd September from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The function rooms will be beautifully set for a Wedding and we can show you our Bridal Suites and bedrooms. Our events team will be on hand throughout the day for any questions - No appointment needed!

All our all-inclusive packages include an arrival drink, toast drink and either a glass of wine or half a bottle of wine per person with the meal. A 2 or 3 course meal plus an evening buffet for an additional 30 guests.

Our visitors included about 20 from Germany, among them restaurant professionals and architects who know about these matters. Many stayed overnight before and after the event. Everyone praised the quality of the catering, the atmosphere, smooth running of the event and hospitality of all of the staff. Special mention to Holly Buckler, our event organiser and Paul, the duty manager on the day, who both anticipated matters we had not thought of and addressed them efficiently and without fuss, so we did not have to worry about anything we had not considered. We and our guests all went away very happy. From the word go, the team at The Ship were magnificent and ran the event fantastically particularly Sarah and Dragos. Our day had been delayed twice over the last 2 years and the Ship were very patient and helpful throughout that time. All the organisation and planning was professional and hassle free and meant we were able to enjoy the day without worry. The food was excellent both at lunch and the evening buffet, the resident DJ was fantastic and the photo booth was very popular. If we had the day again we wouldn’t change a thing. - MMr and Mrs Davis21/09/2022Staff went above and beyondStaff went above and beyondWe have used various hotels in the surrey area and find this hotel one of the best, we came from Northampton to my nephews wedding, we were greeted by the receptionist, given the keys to our room. It was comfortable. The food, for breakfast was ok, the actual wedding day went without a hitch, the surroundings, the wedding breakfast, the evening buffet were exceptional. Finally the staff went above and beyond, they were attentive. When we come again to visit relations or visit brooklands museum we will definitely be in touch. The room looked better than I could have imagined and all the staff were flawless. From my own baby friendly Pimms to the emails back and forth, nothing was ever too much. We had the most amazing day and will have the most beautiful memories for the rest of our lives together. The staff were absolutely fantastic on the day and couldn't do enough for us. In the weeks leading up to our wedding day we had great help and support from a lovely lady who is the events coordinator. She helped us plan the day and was first class. The food for our wedding breakfast was superb and of very high quality as was the service and many of our guests commented on this. The Thames Suite and Hampton Suite were great venues to have our welcome drinks and main meal respectively and both rooms were very smart and laid out nicely. Fantastic evening buffet and a very nice room to stay the night in when the festivities finally came to a close. Excellent breakfast the next morning too. Special thanks to Linda, the most calm, organised and accommodating wedding planner and to Amit for making our day run so smoothly. Our guests have complimented the food, which we are so happy about as that's important at a wedding. The function room worked perfectly and having the courtyard for drinks on a summers day worked perfectly. Our pictures on the green at the front of the hotel have come out beautifully. Highly recommend this hotel, it's been a great experience from start to finish planning our wedding over the last 6 months - nothing has been too much trouble. Our bridal room was also very beautiful and the special touch of flowers, wine and petals on the bed when we returned on the wedding night was so thoughtful!
