We have a beautifully refurbished large hall with a stage. The hall can accommodate 80 guests for a sit down meal and up to a maximum of 150 guests in total. We have a well equipped and spacious kitchen which has been tried and tested by outside caterers on a number of occasions. We have an additional room which can be used for a variety of purposes, eg to lay out a buffet or for a live band to get ready. We also have a small garden at the rear of the hall. There is a limited amount of free parking adjacent to the hall which is exclusively reserved for users of the hall. There is also a Derbyshire Dales carpark right next to us where charges apply. Baslow village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate. The extensive parkland is just a 5 minute walk from the village hall. There are many hotels and other accommodation providers in Baslow and nearby villages. We are offering a low cost alternative to other venues in the area. The hall is available to book just for one day or can be booked for longer to allow time for preparations the day before and clearing away on the morning after. We will be happy to show you everything we have to offer and discuss your requirements. Our hall is a community building with local residents living nearby and all events must finish by 12:30am.
