Barra Castle

The Barn at Barra was everything we hoped for and more for our wedding weekend. From the get go Sarah could not of been more helpful and accommodating! The Barn was the perfect venue for us - thank you all so much!

We had the best day. Even better than we could have ever imagined and it was certainly worth the wait. Everyone was very happy to be outside and able to enjoy the incredible views. We had so many lovely comments from our guests about Barra and how beautiful the venue and surroundings were. Also, a special thanks to you for being so wonderful while navigating our rescheduling.

We had the most perfect day at your venue! I knew the barn was special but it blew us and our guests away! So fit for purpose and so perfect 😄 Thank you, thank you to you and your team!

Wow. Where do we start. We honestly cannot thank you and all the Barra staff enough for making our wedding so amazing. We had the time of our lives. You have been amazing from start to finish with helping with all the planning and we’re so grateful. So many people have complimented how well run the night was and how great the staff were! In particular, the lady with blonde hair always keeping everyone topped up, she was so friendly & smiley and got so involved in the night. Cade was so smile

Our day at The Barn at Barra Castle was better than we could have ever hoped. The views are breath-taking and we were lucky enough to get married outside. We wanted a relaxed day, surrounded by all our favourites and the lay-out of the barn let us do just that. It's so beautifully decorated but we loved being able to personalise it too, and have had such lovely feedback from our guests who were as blown away by the setting as us.

We attended the Littlejohn wedding on Saturday. I just wanted to say how absolutely amazing the staff were. So attentive, helpful and friendly. A special mention to the 2 experienced ladies behind the bar. They were superstars. They took very good care of us even though we were the outside seats furthest from the doors. Please pass on our thanks for a truly wonderful day

Thank you very much for hosting our beautiful wedding - we had such a great day and could not have asked for more perfect weather!! The setting was just as we had pictured, close to home with Bennachie in the background. We are so glad that we were able to share our special day with all our friends and family at your stunning venue!

We had a wonderful time, truly memorable and we thank you and the exceptional team that made our day so special. All our friends and family were bowled over by both the beauty of the Barn and how special they were made to feel. It is now two days later and we haven't come down yet!

We were on an absolute HIGH all day, the venue, your staff, the whole day, the lodges, it was absolutely AMAZING. OVERALL it was exactly what we wanted, everything was fabulous, a wholesome and positive experience for us as customers. We couldn’t stress how truly happy we are we booked Barra! What a day! Can I just add that your staff are fabulous!
