With strikingly beautiful contemporary interiors contrasting with original friezes and features, it is truly a remarkable property for design-savvy couples. Set in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, the mansion house is surrounded by 26 acres of beautifully manicured gardens including stunning antique sculptures and features. The mansion house is blessed with numerous elegant entertaining spaces allowing intimate weddings of up to 40 guests to feel cosy and special in our panelled drawing rooms, whilst our largest space, The Garden Suite can hold larger occasions of up to 80 guests in grand style. Our experienced wedding planning team are on hand to help you realise your wedding dreams in our exceptional property, and we take no greater pleasure than in crafting and designing your wedding to be truly unique and the most special day of your lives.

We chose Barnett Hill Hotel for our wedding lunch. The venue is stunning inside and outside and enjoyed by both adult and younger guests. Eleanor and her team were very helpful and accommodating of our requests and also a real pleasure to deal with throughout the process. All was organised perfectly and as planned, the canapes and lunch (Surrey Hills Menu) were delicious, and we were very well looked after by Julian on the day. We will be visiting again and again.

THE BEST WEDDING AT AT THE BEST VENUE! I got married at Barnett Hill on 27.08.21 and it was just perfect, thanks to all the staff who couldn’t done enough for us and our guests! A special thank you to Hazel Neville & her team & Julien Mallardeau! Hazel & her team were amazing during the preparation and planing of our wedding. Great communication & very thorough! Julien was a great support during the morning of the wedding and during the actual wedding. He was reassuring, he was always around whenever we needed him and made sure the day went as smooth as possible and it did, it was perfect! The venue itself is honestly so beautiful, it’s a very calming and peaceful environment. Would highly recommend, not just for a wedding but also for a general stay. We will be coming back every year to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Barnett Hill x

Immense Gratitude

We would just like to pass on our immense gratitude to all of your staff for making our wedding on the 10th August the most magical day. Everyone we interacted with from the planning process to the day itself has been truly wonderful. A key member of staff that I'd like to personally thank is Ashleigh Lowin. Although Ashleigh only took over our account after Gemma left she instantly made us feel so much more confident with the planning of our day. She was quick to reply to all of our emails and our pre-wedding meetings were a delight. She advised us throughout the entire daunting planning process and ensured that she personalised the day to suit us. Although we did not meet any of the catering staff we would also like to extend our gratitude to them as I imagine they often get forgotten about. Mass catering can be a bit hit or miss sometimes but your team have cracked it. Everyone was raving about the chicken saying it was beautifully moist and that the sauce was a brilliant addition to otherwise standard gravy. Going around and speaking to people it was noticeable the clean plates that were left after every course. If we were to go back in time and replan our wedding day then I would have absolutely no doubts that we would rebook your wonderful venue again. Although the venue itself is absolutely stunning, it was your staff that made our wedding the day it was.

Recently had my dream wedding here.

Recently had my dream wedding here. Couldn't have asked for a better venue. Everything was perfect- from the friendly staff, to the beautiful gardens and immaculate rooms. Holly, our wedding co-ordinator was also a superstar, who helped me from day 1, and was so patient and always got back to my many questions immediately. Describe the best wedding that happened at Barnett Hill?

During a drinks reception the whole wedding party stood amidst our manicured grounds posing for an aerial view photograph. When looking up at the photographer down dropped a pregnancy reveal surprising all of the party as well as the groom himself!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

When compiling your guest list prior to sending your invitations, I advise you use your list to make a rough table plan, then as guests confirm their attendance your table plan will come to life and almost arrange itself - saving you the worry closer to your day. Almost everyone leaves this until the last minute & it can turn into a nightmare with 'influencers' trying to change your plans!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One couple grew a small succulent in a little pot for each guest. They attached the name tag to it so it doubled as their favour to take home. The Bride and Groom had taken so much care to grow them. They showed their love growing for each other through these small gifts and they were treasured by each of the attendees at the wedding.

Our main staircase has a beautiful triple height domed ceiling with original and ornate plaster work and never fails to wow. Our photographers love it!

Being situated on the top of the hill we have the unique ability to only produce our own light and sound therefore we can offer a very tranquil and relaxing setting for your guests to enjoy pre-party, then after the party, wander under the stars to their bedrooms, within the grounds.

That the homely feel has remained within the house; it makes our guests relax and feel at ease and ensures that they enjoy themselves even more.
