The staff were absolutely wonderful and made me and my husband's day perfect. There were some last minute issues we had to deal with as a few people were sadly not able to come, and Samantha helped me remain calm and told me it was no problem at all. The staff are very quick and thoughtful with the room turn arounds, which was my number 1 worry, but I had nothing to worry about at all. Our master of ceremonies Scott was so lovely and thorough, guiding us through how things would proceed throughout the day; letting us know when the room was ready, telling the bridesmaids when to start walking down the aisle, announcing us when we entered for the dinner reception. He was absolutely brilliant! I'm so grateful to you, Scott and Samantha! For my wedding I decided to do the decorations myself, which was a lot but I am still so glad I did it. The staff were so considerate and careful with all the different pieces keeping them safe in storage and worked efficiently alongside my bridesmaids. For all those arty brides, you have nothing to fear. The food was exceptional. The grounds are gorgeous for photos. Plenty of parking access. The rooms are so comfortable, and don't worry if you forgot your hairdryer or need something ironed, these are provided in all the rooms. I can't wait for our anniversary to come round so we can relive the beautiful memories we shared at this wonderful hotel. Thank you very everything!Both my new husband and I could not recommended this place enough from initial planning to the final day we could not find a fault, when you enter the unknown you have so many stupid questions or concerns and everytime I was calmed immediately by either Katie or Sarah (both an absolute credit to the place) Norman was wonderful on the day and was unbelievably accommodating (even when my guests wanted to postpone dinner by an hour). First off thank you to the events team, to Stacey for setting up and making my vision come true. To all the night porters, chefs and servers. The bar staff were amazing. Also a big thank you to Norman, what a legend. I honestly cannot thank you enough, you really did make our day. Our families also had the best day ever. Ballygally is really a very special place. It was the most perfect setting for our wedding. The grounds were out of this world, the flowers, the courtyard area, everything! We were sold on it all. The staff at the Ballygally were always so helpful and all of our guests said they felt as though they were treated like Royalty on our wedding day. The food was just out of this world and everyone complimented on what a great day they had at the Ballygally. The breakfast the next morning was unreal and the staff were so kind to all of our guests and ourselves! As we knew we wanted less than 30 guests we needed somewhere that would happily cater for that. Other venues we had visited seemed hesitant as we were such a small wedding.
