Balinakill Country House

The wedding celebration we had at Balinakill was everything we hoped it would be! I think despite all the pictures, we underestimated how much space we'd have. The two sitting rooms, two dining areas, big backyard sitting area and a bar made it great and very COVID safe. The place was beautiful and the staff super helpful/lovely to deal with. My new wife is already looking for excuses to come back!

The house is so beautiful with everything you need. We stayed with a group of 20 people for four nights, which was perfect. Every couple had a room with a bathroom and could have space for themselves. Every room had such a character. The social area is so convenient, with the bar, beautiful dining area, huge living room, pool area, garden, hot tub, and more. There was a fireplace in many rooms. Ann, the owner, and her staff were extremely helpful, giving us tips about what to do in the area.

Everything about Balinakill is special. The house, the location, the gardens, the amenities, the deco, Ann & Uta (owner and house keeper). We rented it to celebrate my 50th birthday with a large group of friends, including a lot of kids (and dogs), and we had the best time. Every room is on suite and all the public rooms are amazing, including the kitchen (great for breakfast), the dining room (sits 20+ very well) and the two amazing sitting rooms. The hot tub was the cherry on the cake.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Massive, high ceilinged rooms, oak panelled walls, sumptuous staircases, loads of luxurious bedrooms and places to hang out and a fantastic kitchen and dining room. Oh, and it's very own bar where you are the boss and you can keep it open as long as you like! The hot tub came in handy the next day to get rid of the hangover! This is a stunning house, beautifully maintained surrounded by a gorgeous garden that is great for big gatherings and family eve

Incredible house with lots of character! Well worth the trip! Went out for my stag with some of my closest friends and it was truly the trip of a lifetime.

We all had a great third visit to wonderful Balinakill which despite its grand size, feels like a home from home. The hot tub was an added bonus this year, so relaxing to soak in after taking a good walk from the door either to the beach or the beautiful hills that fill the view beyond the garden. All of this before a friendly party gathering in the bar each evening.

We have had the most amazing time for my husband’s 60th birthday. The home is beautiful and perfect for mixed generations, the playroom was perfect for our little ones while the adults loved the bar. Ann has been so friendly and responded to all questions and requests quickly. The countryside around the house fantastic with a very manageable walk to the beach for our little ones. My husband felt like the house had lots of hidden gems.

Beautiful house, always so lovely and clean, lovely feel to the house. Just been to my second wedding here.
