A stunning courtyard in the heart of Cornwall is being transformed into an exclusive new wedding venue. Sculptured from an outstanding set of traditional granite barns. Avalen will open its doors for both intimate and elaborate weddings. This magical set of barns has a unique charm of their own and can be exclusively yours over three days to create your most memorable wedding. Registered for civil weddings, Avalen Farm can offer you the complete package, from a bridal suite, to the wedding ceremony, bar, large dining room and kitchens. Our emphasis is on fewer weddings at a relaxed pace so you have time to enjoy and make your dreams a reality. From the minute you approach the farm, the beauty of Avalen and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with the courtyard of interlinking barns providing a truly unique place for any couple to hold their special day. We pride ourselves on our versatility. We have thought about every aspect of your big day and designed the wedding venue accordingly. You will have exclusive use of the entire farm, made up of three large granite buildings and a bespoke Cornish barn, all linked together by beautiful courtyards, surrounded by fields. The Venue is completely accessible for all guests and designed with couples in mind. The granite buildings are where the ceremony will commence, with large windows overlooking the beautiful countryside and an orchard. As part of your ceremony, we welcome you to plant an apple tree in the orchard to mark your beautiful day at Avalen Farm. The amazing Big Barn with huge glass windows overlooking the beautiful countryside, has trestle tables and seating. As a family run business we are proud to be able to offer that personal touch, helping to craft a unique, flexible and relaxed occasion for you and your guests. What ever your ideas, what ever the size wedding, we offer the blank canvas and help to personalise your perfect day.

We provide two wedding packages:
**Weekend Package**
This option is for a Saturday wedding, accommodating up to 120 day guests and 200 evening guests. It also includes a two-night stay in our Bridal suite.
**Intimate Wedding Package**:
This choice is for a Wednesday wedding, allowing up to 40 day guests, with a two-night stay in our Bridal suite included. Additional guests can be added on Wednesdays for £45 per person, with the capacity to invite an extra 60 people in the evening.

We are still talking about our day a month after the wedding, we would quite happily relive our day over and over again in a heartbeat. And we have to put that down to how they helped us throughout the 14ish months we spent planning our day. No questions were too silly and they always had time for any worries you had. It's taken me a while to write this review as I cant seem to put it into words how incredible Avalen Farm and the team were during the whole planning process of our wedding. We are still talking about our day a month after the wedding, we would quite happily relive our day over and over again in a heartbeat. And we have to put that down to how they helped us throughout the 14ish months we spent planning our day. No questions were too silly and they always had time for any worries you had.

It was the only place we viewed and fell in love with it over 2 years ago. It's a beautiful venue with the best staff. Everyone is so friendly and their communication is absolutely incredible. Another factor was we can choose our own suppliers and decorate it ourselves to make it personal to us. We had so many compliments from guests saying what a hidden gem it was and some even saying they wish they knew about this venue. With extra stars on top 🌟 We got married here June 2024. It was the only place we viewed and fell in love with it over 2 years ago. It's a beautiful venue with the best staff. Everyone is so friendly and their communication is absolutely incredible. Another factor was we can choose our own suppliers and decorate it ourselves to make it personal to us. We had so many compliments from guests saying what a hidden gem it was and some even saying they wish they knew about this venue.

My husband and I got married at Avalen on 1st June and honestly it was the most incredible place to get married. As soon as we saw the venue, it had my heart and I knew I'd marry my bestfriend here. This is such a special family owned and run business is a real jewel in the crown of wedding venues in Cornwall. When we initially booked a viewing, contacting the team was so simple and we would get email replies within hours and not weeks like some! Nothing was too much trouble with days and timings and who we could bring and how many times we could view. We felt no pressure to commit to anything and all of our questions were answered from day one. The price was so reasonable, again, compared to other venues of this scale in Cornwall it was an incredible price. The venue itself is so beautiful, if it's a natural, rustic barn style wedding you are after but with onsite accommodation and all the mod cons then this is the one for you! The bridal suite (house!) Is absolutely stunning with loads of space for all your crew and the most stunning roman bathtub. It's also mere feet away from the ceremony room so no travel required! in the lead up and on the day, nothing was too much trouble and everything was completely seamless. We were having some issues with my entrance music because it was a song on YouTube rather than Spotify but the team sorted it and sorted the timing as if it was nothing and it went perfectly. They worked seamlessly with our hired suppliers, they have a huge professional catering kitchen on site and the grounds of the venue are huge with loading entrances and doors for equipment and decor load and unload. So much parking as well as additional accommodation you can book offsite for your guests and they run a shuttle bus for us to and from the venue so everyone could relax and enjoy. They honestly gave us the wedding of our dreams and I cant thank the team at Avalen enough or give them a good enough review! What is your venue's most unique feature?
The two-ton granite stone at the heart of the handcrafted Bull's Pen Bar, the ancient sycamore tree that adorns our wedding arch, and our expanding apple orchard all create a beautiful backdrop. We warmly invite couples to plant a tree to celebrate their special day and symbolise their enduring marriage.
