FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

After so many postponements due to Covid-19, our favourite weddings are the ones that have had to wait patiently for their wedding day. A few have had to wait years from their original date and when they come around people are ready to celebrate.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Work out an initial budget (that is flexible) and determine the areas of your wedding that are most important to you, for example food and entertainment as these will likely be higher cost items. Remember that you are planning YOUR wedding and as much as you want your guests to have a fantastic day, be sure to include some special moments in the planning for yourselves!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We loved weddings so this is really hard to narrow down! We do love a memory wall of the couple, as we feel that we spend so much time looking after you, on the lead-up to your wedding, it is nice to see where it all began and to visually see their relationship blossom, in picture form!

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Rural, Contemporary, Relaxed, Romantic, Bright

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Our rolling lawn is a picturesque spot with gorgeous greenery and outdoor seating. The fields behind our venue are home to friendly cows that love to come up to the fence and have been spotted in many wedding photos. The old-fashioned tractor is a great photo spot and the children love it!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Everyone is a celebrity to us when you get married here!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our menu has a wide selection of delicious canapes, which makes it really difficult to choose, but if we had to pick just one, we would say the Grilled Steak & Chip with Bearnaise Sauce.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Our woodfired pizzas are prepared and freshly cooked in our traditional ovens with a variety of toppings - who doesn't love a slice of pizza!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

If you are looking for a beautiful country house and marquee wedding, we have this covered. Our marquee is a permanent fixture attached to our gorgeous house, perfect for everything from your wedding breakfast, right through to dancing into the early hours.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our attention to detail and customer service.
