Ettington Park Hotel

Our wedding from start to finish was the most fairytale experience. From sitting with Nadine for our first conversation about our magical day at Ettington Park Hotel, to my final moment chatting to Chloe before I walked out to meet my future husband. Ettington Park staff are the absolute epitome of professional & attentive and thanks to everyone at Ettington this moment for me was the most magical moment of my life. Our wedding was seamless, every section of the wedding ran so smoothly! Thank you to Iris on the day who is fantastic in every way. We loved every moment, every setting & truly felt at home at Ettington. Our ceremony outside in Ettington’s stunning grounds was all I dreamt off and it was perfect in every way. Chloe, I have to mention as she has been an a dream to work with to get my dream wedding. Everything I asked for was no issue, she is a truly lovely person and a huge asset at Ettington Park Hotel. We will be back to Ettington soon as Mr and Mrs Owens.

We all had a fabulous time last weekend, from checking in on Saturday to leaving on Monday! The team are an absolute asset to Ettington and helped make our wedding the fantastic day it was. Damon greeted us on arrival with the offer of a mince pie and mulled wine, always had a smile on his face and couldn't do enough to help us, by the time we left he felt more like a friend of the family than hotel staff. The same was also true for the bar staff, Alex and Dennis who were unbelievable knowledgeable of their trade and made every trip to the bar a great experience. Also our thanks to Kirbie and Emese who assisted us with various things throughout our stay with a constant offer of help or support! Absolutely everyone over the weekend was amazing, these are just a few that stood out and deserved a special mention. A massive shout out to the chef is also needed, all of the food we had was outstanding, from breakfasts, to our fish finger sandwiches (that I'm surprised were eaten) to of course the wonderful wedding breakfast. All of it was amazing! We chose Ettington as a venue for our wedding because it is where we visited for our first night away as a couple over a decade ago, if it didn't already hold a special place in our hearts, it certainly does now.

We decided to have our Wedding at Ettington Park on Valentines Day 2020. From start to finish, we could not have chosen a better place for our celebration. Our day was superbly planned with help from Janet (sales and marketing manager) who became our wedding organiser. She was so helpful that we did not need to enlist the help of a wedding planner due to her considerate and knowledgeable expertise. We had a fantastic time planning and organising it with the team there. They even made our wedding cake for us and all of the food was delicious! On the day itself we could not have asked for a better team of staff to look after us and our guests. The whole day was immaculately executed by Cliff, the Wedding and Banqueting manager who kept everything running on time and ensured we had the best day ever. Each and every member of staff helping on the day showed outstanding customer service, were super friendly and super efficient, meaning we did not have to worry about a thing. Stand out members of staff were Sam on the bar, Daimon on the door (just to namecheck a couple as I cannot remember everyones name). Even the lone bar man at the end of the evening at 2am was still cheerful and smiling. Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to and we put that down to choosing Ettington Park as our wedding venue. We knew it was going to be good, but we didn't know it was going to be that good. The whole experience surpassed all expectations.

I had a 61 person wedding at Ettington Park hotel and it was the best day! The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and our photographs look amazing. We will return for an anniversary for sure. =]

We wanted to thank everyone at Ettington for all your fantastic work and help throughout our wedding planning and day! We had a fantastic day and couldn't have picked a better place! All of our guests commented on how beautiful a spot Ettington was, with a lot of our guests calling it "the castle"! We fell in love with Ettington from the first moment we saw it and it was the most fantastic and breathtaking venue for our wedding reception, the architecture being so beautiful both inside and out that the rainy weather did not put a dampen on our day or our wedding photos, in fact it only complimented! (we'll forward on the photos as soon as we have them). The day ran very smoothly and all stresses were alleviated by the fantastic hospitality team, we wanted to especially thank Zoe who looked after us incredibly well and made us feel at ease throughout the day. The food was exquisite (honestly the best meal we've ever had)! We're just sorry it was over so soon! We are definately going to be coming back for our anniversaries in the years to come.

It feels very very surreal indeed! We had such an amazing perfect day and can’t thank all the staff at Ettington Park enough!! Every single guest was absolutely blown away by our choice in venue, it really is such a beautiful hotel, each one commented on the amazing food and runnings of the day. Massive thank you to yourself, Charlie, Silvio and the other gentleman barman which I didn’t catch his name. Of course all the other staff which helped with our day. From the first time we visited Ettington Park Hotel we were made to feel incredibly welcome. We instantly knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding, not just by the grandeur of the buildings and the beautiful views but by the team being so passionate about their jobs, even the head chef proudly taking the time to explain his wedding tasters to every perspective couple visiting that day. It was great to meet Becky our wedding co-ordinator on Day 1 too, as we immediately could tell she would be super helpful and support us every step of the way, which she did. Becky was friendly and efficient and really easy to communicate with over the course of the wedding planning. She was very patient with us and went above and beyond to make our day so special. On our wedding day we really felt at home and part of the family with the whole team being as excited as we were for the wedding. Special thank you's to Cliff, Damien, Stephen and Thomas for all helping us settle in the day before the wedding and for really getting involved on the day. There are other staff that were great too but sadly I cant remember their names. We had the most wonderful day with nothing being too much trouble for the team at Ettington, thank you we will be forever grateful for this

Basically we said that you and all your team at Ettington were amazing and provided is with a dream wedding. We were blown away by it all. Obviously it is a stunning venue but what really made the different was the level of personal service we received. We had a little blip when we booked the wedding a year back but since you were involved we could not have been happier. From the moment my daughter and I arrived the night before nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like VIPs!!! All our guests remarked on how lovely the venue and the team were as well. The food was delicious for the wedding breakfast as were the actual breakfasts. Charlie who looked after us on the day was lovely and really supportive and efficient. We also really appreciated the little unexpected treats like being put in a lovely room the night before and the personalised teddy on the night of our wedding. So a big thank you to you and the amazing Ettington team.

We both had a brilliant day, thank you. Everything went as we hoped, and have zero negative feedback on anything! All of our guests seemed to enjoy the day, and the hotel, as much as we did which is all we could have hoped for. All of the staff on the day, and in fact over the 3 days we were there, were just lovely and would have done anything for us. Please pass on our thanks to them. We would like to thank you and everyone at Ettington Park for a very memorable weekend. From the very first meeting with you to our final departure, it has been a pleasure planning and experiencing a very special event. I am sure you would be interested in the comments of our guests who came from all over the UK and Canada. Everyone was extremely complimentary about the hotel and its staff who responded in a positive manner to every query and request. We never had any doubt that our guests would be thrilled with the venue and that is born out by those who chose to book extra days in the hotel. With regards to the wedding itself, everything went just as we had planned. The food and service was excellent and can we particularly mention the beef main course and desert. While we did get the opportunity to briefly thank the chef, can you please pass on our compliments and the comments of many guests that the desert was the best chocolate dessert they had ever had! On a more personal note, can we single out Cliff and Damon. Cliff was the perfect event manager on the day, handling everyone of our requests and unforeseen things which popped up in a calm manner and with a smile on his face. Damon is a ball of energy, responding to every guest's needs with great enthusiasm. Once again, thank you for everything and we wish you well in the future. Regards Joel and Kelsey
