Description
We know that your wedding will take time to get right so you have exclusive use of the site from 8am Friday giving you all the time you need to set up, to 1pm Sunday. We also have midweek weddings from Tuesday to Thursday.
There is a choice of four fantastic locations, should you wish to have a Civil Ceremony here, including under the pagoda in our lovely barn garden. Plus a extra beautiful ceremony barn should it rain. We can suggest some great local suppliers but you are free to use whoever you like including catering.
The main oak floored barn will seat 110 at round tables, and 150 with trestle tables in banqueting style. We also have a beautiful two bedroom lodge on the property which overlooks the lake, perfect for brides and bridesmaids, and of course the couple!
Our price includes use of the whole site: Two large barns, the bar (no corkage charges), an equipped kitchen, the large courtyard, rear lawns overlooking Fonthill lake, ceremony garden, two stylish WC's plus a the parking field. Also included are tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception, hay bales and fire pits, milk churns etc. There are no extra costs other than a ceremony fee and the accommodation.
Limited camping is also available.

We are a family run business, Ralph and I have been married for 27 years and have bought 3 children up here! Ashley Wood Farm is a remarkable place set in 10,000 acres on the Fonthill Estate, utterly peaceful and beautiful with amazing views. We love welcoming couples and their families here and we are always on hand to help you , or completely out of your way! We see you as a constant flow of love streaming in and out of the farm and also believe this gives the space a very special atmosphere.

We charge an all inclusive price for our dry hire, no extras apart from the ceremony fee and the accommodation.
The cost for the weekend includes exclusive use of:
* The large oak barn (8m x 16m) seating 110 on round tables or 150 on trestles.
* The milking barn with a large wood burner.
* The Studio Barn, an alternative indoor ceremony space in case of wet weather.
* Elegant rear barn gardens, the large central courtyard, plus lawns with uninterrupted views overlooking Fonthill Lake.
* A large separate field for parking cars.
* Cloakroom with two WC’s.
* Bar with fridge, freezer, sink, storage (no corkage charge)
* Catering kitchen including six ring gas oven and plate warmer.
* Round or trestle tables and chairs for the reception and ceremony.
* Staging, fire pits, hay bales, cafe style tables and chairs, and signs.

After being engaged only a Month, we found Ashley Wood Farm. My then Fiancé LOVED it and that’s when we knew this would be the place we have our Wedding. The architecture was gorgeous and meant we could keep the decor simple yet elegant. Ashley Wood Farm allowed us to bring our vision to life. The setting, the view and the greenery are all just fabulous. The It's a beautiful barn, with a great range of facilities on site, so we never felt in need of anything further. There's also a cottage on site which was a perfect place to base ourselves. Bee and Ralph were very warm, friendly and generally 'hands-off', allowing us the freedom to do what we wanted, but were most certainly 'hands on' when things needed sorting (we had a downpour immediately before our event and Ralph was busy making sure all the paths were dry for us!). So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful place it was. We feel incredibly lucky to have found it!We were married here in early July 24.
