ANRÁN, a private home, is a unique location that offers an exclusive experience different from the usual cookie-cutter wedding celebration. The owners bring a wealth of experience in creating exciting, fun, and memorable occasions, whilst the estate boasts many charming areas that are delightfully different from the norm.
IMPRESS YOUR GUESTS WITH SOMETHING NEW AND ORIGINAL:
FRIDAY: Begin with pre-wedding celebrations at the pub.
SATURDAY: Choose your blessing ceremony at THE LILY POND, THE LAKE, or THE PLANT HOUSE (perfect when the weather turns unkind).
SACRED TRADITIONAL CEREMONY PATH: Exchange vows at the historic St Matthew's Church, then guide guests along the enchanting ANRÁN wedding pathway to THE PLANT HOUSE, THE LILY POND, THE COURTYARD, THE HUT or THE HAY BARN. Your guests can enjoy cocktail receptions in THE COURTYARD, or when the weather requires, move to THE HAY BARN or THE HUT, followed by your wedding breakfast in THE GLASS HOUSE. Then boogie the night away and showcase your dancing in THE HUT.
SUNDAY: Celebrate with a recovery party featuring a BBQ or hog roast at THE HAY BARN.
When you hire both ANRÁN Manor and the ANRÁN Barns, all facilities will be available to you on an exclusively private basis.
We specialise in three-day venue and accommodation packages with weekend exclusive hire (Friday, Check in - Monday, Check out) or your choice of EXCLUSIVELY YOURS FOR ONE DAY MID-WEEK (Monday - Thursday)

Whilst we specialise in three-day wedding packages, we also offer several select days per year for couples who want to celebrate their big day mid-week.

Price includes the use of 14 luxury ensuite bedrooms for 3 or 4 nights (dependent on time of year) plus use of the Glasshouse for the wedding breakfast, the Hut for the evening reception and 40 acres of farmland, parkland, lakes and stream.
We are a "dry hire venue" where you are able to customise your event using your own suppliers or those recommended by Edwin and Mike.

Mike and Edwin were so welcoming, and from our very first enquiry, they made us feel like ANRÁN was ours for the weekend. Throughout the planning process, we worked closely with Melissa who was an absolute gem – so organised, responsive, and genuinely lovely. Nothing was ever too much trouble. As a dry-hire venue, ANRÁN gave us the freedom to make the space completely our own, and it allowed us to create a wedding that felt truly personal. Their recommended suppliers are top notch, but they were also really accommodating when we brought in a few of our own. One of the best things was being there from Thursday to Sunday – we got properly stuck into the setup and were able to enjoy extra time with our guests on both the Friday and Sunday. What makes the venue so special is that it’s a home from home, where you can chose to personalise your day completely. The added bonus of having the venue for 3 days means that there’s no rush to pack up straight away, so you can enjoy the time with your guests for longer and make the most of what it’s all about. There are so many spaces that you can utilise, which really makes it different from most weddings and keeps it interesting for your guests. We chose to get married at St Matthew’s church, then started with drinks outside the plant house, moving to the courtyard, then onto the glasshouse for our wedding breakfast and finally finishing up in the party barn. Every time we moved location was another pleasant surprise for our guests, who still talk about it 18 months later! We honestly had so much fun, and Mike, Edwin, Hayley, Shaun and the team helped make sure it was seamless from start to finish. Edwin, Mike and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. They introduced us to Hayley at Cru Events who was able to attend to every request we had. The organisation was faultless and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Anran is the most spectacular venue, offering a combination of modern, stylish comfort with the bucolic charm of a working Devon farm. Edwin, Mike and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. They introduced us to Hayley at Cru Events who was able to attend to every request we had. The organisation was faultless and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding.

Mike & and his team, and Hayley and her team at CRU catering, made sure every detail was taken care of and looked after us like family. We had our family and friends stay on site in the house and barns and every single person commented on how relaxed they felt, how well taken care of they were and how stunning the place was. As bride and groom, we felt the same way and it was so special to be able to host everyone in such a relaxed way. It really felt like home! The wedding day was incredible. We used so many different areas of the venue - the lily pond, the courtyard, the glasshouse, the hut and the fire pit - and each area was beautiful and full of character in its own way. ANRAN is a very special place. We knew it was the perfect place to hold our wedding, but it exceeded all our expectations. We can't wait to come back and stay again! Rather than have the Celebrations over in a day, we wanted a place that we could truly relax and spend time with friends and family for several days. Mike, Edwin and their team were so supportive over the whole process and allowed (and encouraged) us to be creative (thanks for letting us out a boat full of ice and champagne bottles in the glasshouse!). Their attention to every detail is coupled with laid-back attitude that made us feel instantly welcome and at home. We had the time to enjoy every part of the house, stylish barns and grounds over the weekend, and our guests loved the atmosphere and setting overlooking the beautiful South Devon hills. Our one regret is not booking a couple more days afterwards to unwind after everyone else had gone home... We’d recommend ANRAN and Tidwell Farm to anyone in a heartbeat: The beds are insanely comfortable, the rooms are beautifully decorated to hotel standards, and Mike and Edwin are the perfect hosts. We could not have dreamt of a better wedding venue...My new husband and I recently got married at ANRÁN and it was everything we had ever wished for and exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We love Mike, Edwin and their team, they were just outstanding and love to have a laugh... which is just what you need when things get a bit stressful setting up for your big day.
