Elaine, our contact for the booking was extremely knowledgeable & gave us confidence that we picked the right venue. On the day Callum & Faye were on hand for anything we needed, but without being obvious about it. Every member of staff that we encountered were friendly, accommodating & nothing was too much trouble. The day ran seamlessly. We would highly recommend the Alma Lodge for any event, especially a wedding.From the initial booking to leaving the service we received was outstanding. Selection of various items to be had. Only stayed overnight as we were attending a family party at another location. To be honest we were made so welcome by your attentive staff I didn't want to go home & regret not staying longer. Can honestly say stay was first class from start to finish. Wonderful staff, lovely cosy clean room. Would DEFINITELY recommend.First time staying at Alma Lodge, definitely not the last. Room was clean & had everything that was required. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Selection of various items to be had. Only stayed overnight as we were attending a family party at another location. Everyone had an amazing time as we danced to music provided by a DJ. The room was well kept and the beds incredibly comfortable. I would particularly like to mention Lauren who helped us with bags on arrival & again on departure. Customer care & attitude is essential these days, your staff certainly demonstrated this quality. On Sunday we celebrated our sister in law's birthday. The lunch was brilliant. The serving staff were outstanding & it was well organised by the Manager. Breakfast was good, we will definately return. Please just keep doing what you do so well!A delightful two night stay, felt all staff were superb.
