Describe the best wedding that happened at Addington Palace?
We love all of them!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Sometimes less is more. With a grand ornate building like ours, we think any decor should serve to complement the venue. This certainly helps when budgeting also, as you may find you can get away with hardly any decor, as the rooms are impressive on their own.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I think you are always in for a treat when the bride and groom have choreographed a dance routine with a live band and/or choir. You have to be there to understand the atmosphere, especially as the great hall has excellent acoustics.

Where’s the best photo spot at Addington Palace?
This is tricky. For me, when the weather is right it's the South Lawn (Our gardens) which has the palace in all its glory as the backdrop. However, both the Bridal room, and our Grand Staircase are our contenders.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Champagne and caviar Darling!
What is Addington Palace most unique feature?
The building itself is no doubt the hero in this story. Which is why we give you exclusivity over the house and grounds to providing you one of the most unique wedding experiences imaginable, in having your own Palace for the day.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Undoubtedly it's the history of the building which starts in the Saxon era, first recorded in the Domesday Book. There are nearly 1000 years of visitors, from Kings and Queens to everything in between. If you want to learn more, check out our history page on our website.
