The Turquoise Holiday Company

We booked our honeymoon with Stuart and without a doubt would use Turquoise again. We had a 3 week honeymoon in Australia travelling from Sydney to Noosa, Hamilton Island and then onto Thala beach reserve just north of Cairns. We crammed a lot in to a short time but it was so well organised that at no point did it feel rushed. Unlike other companies we enquired with we didn’t feel like we were paying a huge premium for the service, even before we left I felt comfortable with the pricing and then whilst on holiday I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations greatly. Every detail had been covered, trips and excursions we had booked through Stuart and through Laura with our gift list were all arranged and we had a very handy itenary sent to us, showing all our flights, transfers, hotels, trips for each day, we had to think about nothing. The planning process was excellent - Stuart answered every email answering the most ridiculous of questions and was alway prompt with responses to the huge amount of queries I sent, I cannot thank him enough for putting up with me! I hope we have an excuse sometime soon for another holiday and would certainly enquire with Turquoise again.

We can’t thank Lyndsey and her team a Turquoise enough for helping us to organise our dream honeymoon. Lyndsey really listened to what we wanted and recommended some beautiful places to stay, whilst keeping to the budget we had set. The whole trip was seamless from start to finish, with one small problem that Turquoise went above and beyond to sort out straight away. We really did have the most incredible two weeks and I can’t recommend the places we stayed enough, everywhere we went was just magical. Thank you so much and we will certainly be using your services again in the future.

We booked our Honeymoon in the Maldives with Marina after our first honeymoon plans we made elsewhere fell through. What can we say... it was a blessing in disguise, Marina helped us arrange the most perfect holiday. The Maldives did not disappoint, the hotel, food, staff, excursions and surroundings were unbelievable. This has been the best holiday of our lives and we have left with the most wonderful memories. We can't thank Marina enough and this won't be the last time we book a trip with Turquoise! Thank you again so much.

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name.” These lyrics from the “Cheers” theme song is 100% in line with Cocos Hotel, and I was singing it to myself for the entirety of our trip. Each and every staff member knew us on a first name basis, and my husband and I felt like we made 20 new friends on our Honeymoon. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and genuine – it was incredible. As for the resort itself, WOW! I had asked Lizzie for something that would suit both my husband and I (he prefers to sleep in the woods, and my idea of camping is a 3-star hotel), and she really knocked it out of the park with Cocos Hotel. Beautiful single cottages nestled into a hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea, with a private deck and outdoor shower. Absolute. Paradise. We enjoyed kayaking (provided by Cocos) through the bay, our (complimentary!) 30 min massages, and champagne dinner (so romantic – the outdoor restaurant is incredible!). On a misty morning, we took a cab ($40 USD r/t) to St John’s and enjoyed some duty-free shopping in Heritage Quay and Redcliffe Quay, along with a visit to the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda, and a drive by Saint John’s Cathedral. On the Sunday night of our trip, we took the Cocos shuttle to Shirley Heights for the steel drum orchestra party (this happens every Sunday! $22 USD/person r/t for the shuttle and $10 USD/person entry fee). It was a bit of a cloudy/rainy morning/afternoon that day, but we got to overlook English Harbor and see the sun set between the clouds into the sea, while we danced for over two hours. Caribbean music at its finest! In addition, we met a very nice beach vendor while at Cocos, who was a small boat captain (and also a fisherman! We purchased a lobster lunch from him, and it was phenomenal!), and we took a private ride to Cades Reef for some snorkeling. A second lobster lunch was also included in the boat price! We’re already talking about our five year anniversary trip back to Cocos. I hope all of our new friends will still be there :)

Lyndsey was a star! Our honeymoon was AMAZING and we were so impressed with the service we received and all the little touches. We started off in Moorea, a beautiful hidden gem of French Polynesia. Arriving felt like the start of Jurassic Park with the lush green mountain growing bigger and bigger as we got closer. The Hilton was out of this world, fab service, best spot on the island and just all round beautiful. The people on the island are the nicest and the snorkelling is outstanding. Definitely go and explore, it won't disappoint! Bora Bora...well, what a place! The sea is unlike anything and really is a once in a lifetime destination. If you like your snorkelling, go to the Coral Garden it is well worth the visit. Actually, spend as much time as you can in the water because the marine life is INSANE! I won't lie and say it isn't expensive as it 100% is so be prepared to dig into your pockets whilst you are there. Is it worth it though? Yes! Word of advice too, never check the weather app as Bora Bora is a sassy diva and she will just do what she wants. We were fortunate to stay in both InterContinental's and upgrading to the Thalasso was the best move we did. If you are a foodie like me, dine at the Le Corai there, the Wagu beef was delish. The Diamond Otemanu Villa was HUGE and had the most wonderful views of Mt Otemanu. Watching the sunset on our deck, sipping a cold glass of wine is an absolute highlight. Amazing honeymoon booked through fiona, she was patient, helpful, in constant contact and incredibly friendly to the point that despite talking to many companies I really wanted to go just with turquoise based on how helpful she was! The process of booking with Turquoise Holidays, specifically Jenni, was flawless. They were knowledgeable and contactable at all times with answers to all of my questions - which there were quite a few! We were booking our holiday of a lifetime for our honeymoon and it really did live up to expectations in every way. I would not hesitate to use Turquoise again for future trips. Thank you so much!

We have booked our wedding and honeymoon in Mauritius with Susan from The Turquoise Holidays and it was the second best decision in our life (after deciding to marry each other) ;-) Susan together with the wedding coordinator from Oberoi Mauritius have made everything so easy and that took so much stress away from us. The hotel itself was a paradise and we are very tempted to be coming back there for our wedding anniversaries now :-) And our wedding was just perfect, all the hotel staff did their utmost best to make it as beautiful and smoothly going as possible. I cannot recommend both The Turquoise Holidays and Oberoi Mauritius enough.

Melissa planned the honeymoon of our dreams - she pulled through :)!!! We had just given up on our dream of going to the French Polynesian as other companies had quoted too expensive. We were recommended Turquoise from a friend and thought we would get one more quote... and we are so glad we did! Melissa managed to work within our budget and get half board aswell!! She was so helpful with any questions we had an I always felt I could reach her having a direct line and email. It was also great to have first hand information from her as she had been recently. I have already recommended Turquoise and Melissa to other friends looking to plan their honeymoon! We had the most amazing time - a trip we will never forget and what better way to start married life! It was also lovely to have Melissa check in with us when we got back to hear how we got on. Top star service and will definitely book with Melissa again!
