What is your most memorable wedding?
There are too many to mention - each and every one has been an absolute honour to be trusted on their special day. There was one client, who was an older male and he was so adorable the way he described his love for his bride, who he had waited for all his life. It was so pure, we shed a tear in the office - the most romantic partner you will never again find!!

What about your business are you most proud of?
Our ability to cover most of the UK - Each of our 7 Ostler farms are family run and, although we are now the UK's largest carriage company, each Client still receives that personal attention that you would expect from a smaller family business with their own dedicated Wedding Coordinator for their special day.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy it - this is the start of the rest of your life - have fun playing around with the details, enjoy the lead up to the special event and remember - everyone is there to celebrate you two!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are lots of lovely personal touches we have seen over the last 25 years - but, as animal lovers, sometimes the cute pooch wins!!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We are available at the end of a whatsapp or phone call with all enquiries. It's a minute to complete a quote form on our website - link here - https://www.horseandcarriagehire.co.uk/free-quote/ Once received, we check availability for the chosen date and all carriages, with photographs and prices are sent to the client within 48 hours (usually 24). We follow that up with a selection of photographs sent via whatsapp so the couples can see all angles, hoods on/off for the convertible carriages and get a real feel the the styles available. If the client has any questions, these are answered promptly via whatsapp or a phone call. If the client decides to book a carriage, we check the routes for safety of the clients and our horses then a small holding fee is taken, via a secure link, to secured the booking. Contract paperwork then follows immediate we have received the payment and an email introducing client to their dedicated Wedding Coordinator. It's a seamless, concise, personal service!
