What is your most memorable wedding?
A collection from Bicester of the Bride and her Bridesmaids, on arrival at the collection address I just knew that this was going to be a fun day. The Bride had chosen Mushroom for her wedding transport, and had travelled from Zimbabwe for her wedding, her mother had accompanied her and was the photographer for the day. The reception was at Waddesdon in the Village Hall; where more photographs were taken. Plan ahead for everything and use the wedding transport itinerary that we provide
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The Brides mother retrieving a Bumblebee that had flown up the outer voile layer of the Bride's wedding dress.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
On receipt of an enquiry, we check the information is complete, if not we request further information, if it is available. We like to have the names of the Bride and Groom, along with the names of their parents etc. Based on the information we receive, we prepare an itinerary for the days transport showing when the hire commences up until the transport returns to Base. One week prior to the wedding, we check that nothing has changed or needs to be altered. We always plan our arrival at the collection address to be at least 15 minutes early and announce our arrival. Our chauffeur will always remain attentive, but never intrusive and will always be out of photo shot during photographs that include the camper, except on those occasions where we are requested to be included. The chauffeur will give subtle hints regarding timings to the couple, when required and following arrival at the reception, will always request permission to leave.
What is the most original entrance you have given to a wedding couple?
Having the Bride decide that she wanted to arrive in the camper that had been chosen for the Bridesmaids and not the London Taxi that had been chosen for her, so she leapt from the Taxi outside the Church and made me drive around again for her arrival.
What is your dream car and why?
Marcos 3L V6, It was the first car I ever built from a kit.
What would be your No.1 tip for arriving in style?
Dress according to your theme, don't wear Doc Martens with a wedding dress, it really does not work.
What is your favourite movie car chase?
Any of the races featuring Herbie!
