What is your most memorable wedding?
That’s a tough one! We have had the pleasure of doing so many genres of wedding themes, from rustic barns, city hotels, tepees, registry offices, traditional churches, seaside locations and some of the most wonderful buildings throughout the North West which we never even knew existed. There is so much choice available throughout the North West which makes this area such a fantastic collective mix to choose from for your Wedding day! But most memorable for us are always the people! Our couples often create the best memorable moments for us! Some times, we are having so much fun that we forget to leave! Memorable wedding locations which come to mind are open air forest weddings, driving onto a floating pontoon at a nature reserve and even driving in convoy with Hells Angels on their motorcycles, and tractors detailed in matching ribbons!

What about your business are you most proud of?
Firstly, it’s got to be our campervans! Each camper van has received an impeccable restoration, each having undergone complete nut and bolt care and attention. Being over 50 years old, you can only imagine what they used to look like. Each camper van has been restored by us just for one purpose, your wedding! We never get tired of talking about what we do, how we do it, and above all, our passion for these wonderful vehicles and of course, the services we can offer you!
Secondly, our business does not need to be complicated. We call it fun! We have a strong focus on our relationships with all our couples, especially ‘communication’! We are very proud of our response times, typically responding to most enquiries and dealing with updates most evenings and weekends as well as the usual 9-5!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do your homework on your supplier, social media, reviews. Recommendations are, and should be, easily accessible.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We always go the extra mile but sometimes, our couples do just for us! On one occassion, one couple asked their cake maker to make a smaller version of their wedding cake, a VW splitscreen camper cake, and presented it to us on their wedding day as a big thank you!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The higher percentage of couples wanting to book, never actually come to see us. They make their initial enquiry, email, Facebook or by telephone and we send the quotation, referrals to our reviews, social media and enclose pictures of available camper vans and much more. However, should a couple come to meet us and view the camper vans (which we highly recommend), we can talk at length about their wedding day, introduce a few ideas which we know work really well on the day, discuss logistics and even the vast choice of ribbon and bows colours we have available. Booking forms are sent by email or downloaded from our website and once a 20% deposit is received, the camper van is booked!
What is the most original entrance you have given to a wedding couple?
Once married, we often take our couples for a drive; a little bit of 'you time' which is a wonderful way to spend some time togther before the celebrations continue. When we return, we have often organised with the best man or photographer a collection of guests, outside ready to welcome our couple back to an applause whilst standing up and out over the sunroof! Music blasting, cameras clicking away, it's great fun!
What is your dream car and why?
We are lucky, we already have 3 of them!
What would be your No. 1 tip for arriving in style?
The right kind of transport is essential and if you have a theme, choose the right car to go with it! Make sure you and your dress will fit in the car of your choice. Take into consideration the available space for other passengers travelling with you, especially if your dress has hoops as they can take up 3 spaces. Don't assume because a car looks big on the outside, will be big on the inside! Go and see them before booking or do your homework on the vehicle!
