Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Leanne
Hi I'm Leanne (Many emails open with 'Dear Tom'....) I've been creating stationery for weddings and other occasions since 2006. I love my job (I'm one of the lucky ones!) I have the best work buddy - Dolly the Wonder Dog. I like things to be matchy-matchy (There is something so satisfying....) I have a camo print obsession but have never been asked to create camo print wedding stationery - I live in hope! The story behind the 'Tomarty' name is top secret - try if you like - I won't crack!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

The Bride named her tables for the reception all the different nicknames she used for her groom - very funny!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Classic. Traditional. Contemporary. Friendly. Relaxed.

What about your business are you most proud of?

We have been established in the wedding stationery world since 2006 and still going strong!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Allow enough time for guests to RSVP and for you to use that information for seating plan preparation!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A family member made truffles to go into the favour boxes we had made.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We would find out the style of their wedding by asking a few simple questions. Clarify colour scheme and material styles they wish to use and put together their perfect design. Once an invitation design has been agreed everything else to match follows along nicely.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

The invitation - it sets the scene for the type of wedding they are to expect to attend, and is the starting point for your theme/branding which you can then carry throughout the day for ceremony and reception stationery.

What is your best seller?

Pocketfold invitations because they are so versatile in design and practical in presenting the amount of information as is often necessary for weddings in today's world.

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

I think anything with the personal touch is romantic - I once had a bride who chose her colour scheme because of a beautiful pair of shoes her Groom had chosen and bought for her even though it wouldn't have been her first choice. I thought that was very romantic!
