Fresh, romantic, watercolour, vivid, personal
Our focus on offering beautiful wedding stationery and gifts that are subtly seaside and sustainable.
Start earlier than you think - it will always take longer than you plan for.
A small donation to a charity of the guests choice as wedding favours. Really personal, environmentally friendly and a great way to support worthy causes.
I would actually say that there is no typical process. Everyone I've worked with has needed something a little bit different which is something that I love. It really depends on whether you want to purchase one of our house collections or if you're looking for semi-custom.
If you order something from our house collection, then I will use the details submitted with your order to create your electronic proofs (typically takes around 48 hours). With orders from the house collection, I aim to get them from order to print within 1 week of getting your details, and then it normally takes another 7-10 days from printing for them to be delivered to you.
With semi-custom designs I've found it can take a little bit longer to get from order to print as it's a very iterative process. I like to arrange a phone call or Zoom if you're looking for semi-custom stationery as I've found this is the best way to discuss your ideal invites. Once I've got the brief, I'll go away to work on some designs and before sending over proofs. Once we're agreed on the design then I'll send them to print and you can expect your designs to arrive within 7-10 days.
I would have to say your Save the Date. It's the first tangible thing that your guests will have for your wedding so it really sets the tone.
For me it all comes down to sentimental touches. Nods to favourite books, meeting places and other shared passions. I love adding little details that mean a lot to people I'm making them for, it's what really makes the stationery special. My own wedding invites included the wording "Merry making to follow" which was a phrase my late father used. It was a wonderful way to include him in our big day. I think wedding stationery is often overlooked as way to be sentimental, but for me it's something that is really central to the design - who you are and what is important to you as a couple.
