Hello and thanks for seeking me out...
I’m Rebecca, founder of Splendid Swan. Now a wedding stationer, I have more than 15 years experience in the creative industries. My background in design and print, combined with experience working for luxury venues has given me the passion and a wealth of knowledge to be able to create beautiful wedding stationery.
I have spent years honing my skill and perfecting my creative process, which is reflected in the experience I offer my clients.

What is your most memorable wedding?
My best friend's wedding in an old art deco cinema on the edge of Leeds - everything was just perfect!

What about your business are you most proud of?
My bespoke wedding venue illustrations. I love working with couples to create something unique and capture the character of the venue.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start planning early, don't be afraid to delegate and be clear about your budget from the start.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
An artist doing caricatures of the wedding guests
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I establish what the couple wants either by email, phone or a face to face meeting. I then create some drafts / mockups and email the couple a digital proof for approval. Once approved the stationery will be printed and assembled, then delivered to the client.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The invitations (you wouldn't have any guests without them) and the seating pan (so everyone knows where to sit).
What is your best seller?
Illustrated order of the day signs.
What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?
Most people use Royal Mail
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
I love to add bespoke watercolour illustrations, plus embellishments such as buttons, tassels, sheer ribbon and bows.
