I would have to say it was my own back in 2008 - As cliche as it sounds it was one of the best days of my life. Not only did I get to marry my husband after being engaged forever I also found what I wanted to do for the rest of my life - provide other couples with beautiful memories in creating stunning stationery.
Beautiful; luxurious; exquisite; elegant and delicate
The personal service I provide. I am always on hand for couples if they need to ask any questions or even pop round for a cuppa.
Remember you can not please everyone - it's your special day.
A family wedding I designed stationery for had a beautiful large standing wishing tree. Ribbons hang down with polaroid photos of the couples at different places they had visited together before they got married.
I normally receive a phone call/email - we would arrange a time and date and the couple would come over to look at some designs over a cup of tea. From the meeting, I would have a really good idea of what they wanted from their wedding stationery. I would then send out a sample and we would go from there.
Definitely the wedding invitation itself. This sets the tone for your wedding day. Your guests get a really good idea on what they can expect. I designed some invitations and a neighbour of someone who had received an invite said that was "definitely a wedding you would want to be invited to!"
Pocketfolds are really popular at the moment - they hold lots of information for guests.
Sometimes I put a little quote on wedding invitations or even a line from the couple's first song is a lovely touch.
