What is your most memorable wedding?
Wedding at a beautiful Orangerie in Spain. I designed a completely bespoke invitation suite and on the day stationery for this couple. It was made up of watercolour oranges and delicate orange blossom. From the moment I met this couple I knew I was going to love working on their suite. They really understood my style and had their own ideas which I was able to work with them to bring to life.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Watercoloured, natural, clean, airy, bohemian
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try and incorporate as much of your personalities into your day as you can. From the stationery, the colours and favours to the outfits and first dance. You want your guests to think everything is ‘so you.’
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The invitation is by far the most important piece. It not only determines the guests you are inviting but is also your guests first glimpse of your day and sets the tone for your whole wedding.
What is your best seller?
My Greenery suite and Beach wash are currently the best but they have only just overtaken rustic leaf.
What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?
I hand delivery lots of my orders as a lot of my brides are local to Herforshire where I am based. I see it as that final hand finished touch a small business can offer, which makes the journey of creating their stationery all the more special for my clients.
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
The romance is in the packaging. Once all the suites are assembled for an order I parcel them up in groups of 10 and wrap in tissue paper and twine. All the little bundles go together in a box ready to be opened excitedly by the happy couple. I know most of my couples think it is like opening presents amd wait until then can both sit and do it together with a glass of bubbles. Wedding planning is so exciting and creates lots of very special moments before your big day even arrives.
