What about your business are you most proud of?
I've always wanted to have my own business, I feel proud looking back from where I started and the plans I have for the future and expansion. It's come with a lot of hard work but I've enjoyed every moment.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my bride's worked with textiles and wanted a very bright and bold flower design on her wedding stationery, and then she used the design I had created and printed the pattern on converse and bow ties for the groom and his groomsmen!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I work closely with every customer to help create their dream wedding stationery. Customers can either choose from pre-made designs on our website, or can send me ideas of a new design they would like me to create. I then create a mockup for the customer to approve. We can then go back and forth until the design and wording is perfect. Once the customer is completely happy with the artwork we will print the order.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
I think the most obvious would be the wedding invitation, it definitely sets the tone for the day, but I think Save the Dates are also important. I’ve seen so many people that receive a save the date card and stick it on their fridge...even when the wedding has been and gone it remains there like a souvenir. So make sure you send out beautiful Save the Dates, and ones with magnet backings are even better!
What is your best seller?
Our custom venue illustrated stationery is our most popular collection. We offer flat invitations or folded options.
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
I am such a perfectionist and love adding finishing touches to a stationery order before I post them out to make sure they are absolutely perfect. I love the thought of a bride to be opening her parcel with excitement to see her wedding invitations, so I always make sure the order looks as beautiful as can be.
