Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Chic, bold, versatile, modern, fresh
What about your business are you most proud of?
All my lovely reviews! Nothing makes me prouder than hearing from my happy customers!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always ask! Don’t just go on the info online - certainly with stationery at least. If you’ve set your heart on a design and format but want some tweaks, different colours or it’s out of your budget, there’s always some suggestions that can be made to get the balance just right.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Wedding signs are always fun! Getting to see the ideas for little extras that couple come up with, i love the current trend for sparklers.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually i get a free sample request first and then contact from the couple regarding their favourites and we communicate regarding any questions and pricing, i sometimes send further samples but more often i request the wordings and proof everything on email, making it really fast and easy. Once happy with the proofs, i ask for sign off via the website and payment (usually via bank transfer).
I then order all the necessary stock, paper and finishibg touches and print and hand finish the cards. I always send a despatch email so couples know when to expect their lovely invites or day stationery.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The invite, it sets the tone, palette and style for the big day and gives guests that all important information. It also serves as a lovely keepsake!
What is your best seller?
Everyone chooses different colours, formats and designs but since creating these bespoke Gatsy pocketfolds a while ago i’ve had tons of follow up orders for identically styled invites! http://www.oliveweddings.co.uk/gatsby-bespoke-wedding-invitations/
