At Olive & Millicent, we know that first impressions are important, especially when it comes to your big day.
We have packages to suit all budgets and requirements, whether you want something from our current collection or a bespoke design completely tailored to you, we would love to be part of your story.
Each design is lovingly hand painted, scanned and edited digitally before being printed on beautiful paper. We offer a range of services, including Save the Dates, Invitation Suites, Thank You cards along with 'On the Day' stationery such as Table Plans, Table Numbers and any other signage.
If you want that extra special touch, we also offer hand lettering services for place cards and envelope addressing.
Lovers of all things botanical, our designs all feature watercolour foliage or florals and these can be customised to match your wedding colours or flowers.
If you're looking for something that's ready to go, our current collection is inspired by some of my favourite literary couples of all time. These designs are also available as printables if you would prefer to handle the print job yourself.

What is your most memorable wedding?
One of my best friends got married this year, so I'd have to say that. Weddings are always exciting but even more so when you get to collaborate with someone you've known for years and make their wedding extra special. I love all of the personal touches to a wedding and this wedding was full of them!

Delicate, whimsical, elegant, charming, pretty
What about your business are you most proud of?
The comments I get from the couples I work with and their guests. Every positive comment makes the hard work worthwhile.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy all of the planning and build up to your big day. The day always goes so quick, so you have to savour every moment before and during!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One couple had very thoughtfully put together a guide to all of the guests at their wedding, briefly explaining who each guest is and what they've done to help towards the big day. It was definitely one way to make guests feel special!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
For a bespoke stationery order, once the couple have filled out the form on my website I'll send over a provisional quote and start discussing design ideas. If the couple have a clear vision of how they want everything to look, I'll get started with the design process. I start by doing a selection of thumbnail sketches, then I'll get my watercolours out and make a start on the illustrations. Depending on the couples requirements, I'll send over progress shots along the way, so that they can make any changes. Once the artwork is scanned and edited and any calligraphy done, I put the design together and send it over to the couple for approval. Once approved, the design will be sent to print where it is then lovingly wrapped and posted.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
First impressions really do count, so either the Save the Dates or Invitations. They really do set the tone for the wedding and give your guests something nice to put on their fridge! I always think, the prettier it is, the more likely they'll be to treasure it.
What is your best seller?
My semi-custom design service is definitely really popular, as lots of couples love to have a venue illustration on their invitations!
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
My current collection is inspired by some of my favourite love stories and they of course are very romantic! In order to communicate this in my designs, I use my own style of hand lettering and delicate botanical illustrations.
