Kelle Pearce Full Description
My Name's Kellé. I've been designing wedding invitations for family, friends, and friends of friends for a few years now, and realised that now is the perfect time to take on a few more! All of my designs feature my watercolour paintings and calligraphy, mixed in with graphic design elements. I currently mainly work on the digital files... but can happily recommend some online printers that make it really easy and affordable to print yourself, or if you'd rather I can arrange everything for you and take it off your hands! If you like what you see and you'd like me to design something for you, please get in touch xx

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I designed invitations for my fabulous friend who was getting married in LA. Her invitations featured succulents, palm trees and the Hollywood hills. Some of my very favourite things!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

FUN. PRETTY. HANDPAINTED. INDIVIDUAL. PERSONAL.

What about your business are you most proud of?

To be honest I'm most proud when I see any of my designs actually in use. To have people like my work so much that they include it as part of their special day...well it's pretty humbling.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

SPREADSHEETS. Boring maybe but you've got to keep track of everything! And obviously, enjoy it! But mostly spreadsheets ; )

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

There was a tarot reader at one I went to, that was a lot of fun. And I just love a photobooth.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

So usually we start off by looking at ideas of invites and stationary that they like the style of. If they're really organised they sometimes have a moodboard to send me...but no worries if not as I really enjoy moodboarding for them! We'll often set up a pinterest board together too. Then it's first drafts of the design, I say to leave at least 3 weeks for me to get this back to you. I allow 3 rounds of changes too, so we can get it just right.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

Well I'm slightly biased here...the invitation of course! It'll be stuck on your grandma's fridge for anywhere near up to a year! Make it a good one.

What is your best seller?

Each of my designs is bespoke so that doesn't really apply..but I have seen a rise in people asking for little watercolour portraits which are really fun.

What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?

On a fridge magnet or a teatowel.

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

It's totally personal to each couple and reflects them and their day. What's more romantic?!
