What about your business are you most proud of?
Everything! But if I had to pick one it would be the relationship I build with customers.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I have many tips from working in this industry and also being a bride myself but my number 1 is... Planning your wedding can be as much stress as it can be fun so it's important to remember you can't please everyone. There is bound to be some one who would have preferred the chicken to the beef or will have something to say about how far away the venue is to them! The important thing to remember is the reasons you are getting married in the first place, you love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together. Its so easy to get caught up in the wedding madness and compete with our couples to try and have the better wedding... what ever you do, your wedding is going to be the best day ever!! X
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Our bespoke story board guest signs are such a fun way of having your guests leave their message and totally different. Tell your love story through your own illustrated story board and have your guests leave their messages around it. Gone are guest books! This fun print comes mounted and makes a gorgeous piece to frame and hang in your home afterwards.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I have a face to face consultation with the couple when able or we discuss ideas and their needs over the telephone and email. Once a design has been decided the couple receive a PDF proof and the option of amends. Once the design is perfect and has been agreed it is then sent to print and will arrive back with the couple within 7-10 working days.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The invitation! A close second would be the added information card. Finally, the finishes, such as wax seals, luxury envelopes, ties and ribbons, because these are the extra special touches that really impress your guests.
What is your best seller?
Our Ti Amo and Maebry range in The Collection is our most popular. It is contemporary, is un-complicated and gorgeous and suits any wedding style.
What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?
Pigeon! I'm only kidding! I think Royal Mail is the most popular choice.
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
Colour and typography can make all the difference in the design, using the right font and colours can turn a design from something punchy to something totally romantic. Another nice touch is to add a romantic quote to the reverse of a design... it's all in the details.
