Through the art of flower pressing and the age-old technique of foil blocking, seasonal collections of stationery are thoughtfully crafted with the utmost care and intention. Each piece is designed to stand quietly apart and be cherished for your wedding day and beyond.
I specialise in a gentle form of luxury, taking time to perfect each individual save the date, invitation or piece of wedding day stationery that I work on. The foil is hand pressed onto each card individually, the flowers are grown and pressed by me from my very own garden. The aim is to set the tone of your wedding day beautifully, with thoughtfulness, and at a level of detail that will really wow your guests.
Meet GinaAs a trained graphic designer, I started my career working for a number of wonderful brands including Harrods, The White Company and Plum & Ashby, where I instilled a love for detail and a real appreciation for fine craftsmanship. So, upon starting Gable & Grain, choosing to use the age-old crafts of flower pressing and foil blocking was a very intentional decision. These require slow, careful attention, and the end results are all the better for it.
So now you’ll usually find me huddled amongst beautiful stationery, in my flower-filled studio in the English countryside, joyfully designing and crafting for soon-to-be-married couples all over the world.
I design floral stationery quite literally from garden to paper! I pick flowers I have grown from my garden, which I then press for a number of weeks. I create floral designs with these digitally, which are are then printed onto luxuriously thick paper and paired with shiny foil blocked wording.
