FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My most memorable wedding has to be one i worked on recently for a lovely couple who decided to get married in 2020 despite all odds. It was a bespoke brief and was quite different to work I had done before so it was really fun!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Soft, Minimal, Neutral, Modern, Luxurious

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the beautiful craftsmanship that goes into each and every invitation. Everything is printed by hand using an antique British built printing press. This ensures everything is produced to perfection so that when the couples receive them they are truly blown away.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do things the way YOU want to. Things are bound to build up in terms of expenses so really prioritise what matters most to you and try to relax and enjoy the planning stages.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love when couples include handmade touches such as the wedding favours. It is so lovely when these elements are really personal to the couple or have been a labour of love. For my own wedding I am hoping to brew some elderflower champagne to leave in mini bottles next to each place setting. I will letterpress some little tags of course to tie to each one for an added special touch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

To begin with I love to get to know you and what you are looking for. What it is you liked about my work and what you are hoping for in your own invitations. It is a good time to discuss the budget you have in mind and whether semi-custom or bespoke might suit you better. If you choose to create a bespoke design this will be a very exciting collaborative process between us, you can share your ideas with me through a Pinterest board and I will come up with ideas to show you until we truly capture the feeling you are hoping to create. No idea is too big so this is a great chance to have fun and push the boundaries. For a semi-custom design, the design work is pre-done which allows them to be more affordable. From here you can order samples of your favourite style to see the beautiful quality for yourself. You then choose which design is your favourite, which ink and envelope colours you would like and we will get printing! Before anything goes ahead you will see a virtual proof of your design so you can be absolutely sure it is the one for you.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

I would say the most important piece would obviously be the invitation itself but naturally I am biased and I love the complimentary elements that go with it. For example, I most enjoyed having a little illustrated map for my own wedding invitations. I had admired them for a while so it definitely felt like an essential part of my invitation suite.

What is your best seller?

A favourite so far seems to be my 'Emma and Joe' semi custom suite which features a custom illustrated venue and map, its the little extras that make it I think!

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

Our wedding stationery is always designed with the couple in mind. For the semi-custom, each invitation is tweaked to reflect the couple and their special day. For the Bespoke designs, they totally encapsulate the feeling the couples want to create. So much love and attention goes into designing and printing each and every piece. I am passionate about telling the couple's story and creating wedding stationery that really resonates with their guests when they receive them.
