A shabby chic wedding full of distsy vintage florals, bunting, paper balls, wild flowers and natural material all outside in a teepee. It was a pleasure to do the stationery for them.
vintage, floral, elegant, shabby chic and glitzy
Starting it from scratch and learning as I went along
nobody knows what you have planned for the day, so if a detail or timing goes wrong you will be the only person that notices. Your guests will be oblivious.
A goodie bag for the ladies loo's. It had things like deodorant, plasters, blister plasters, chewing gum, paracetamol and hairspray. I used almost all of them.
First I get the couple to send me over any idea they have. I will then do a few ideas which hopefully tick all the boxes. Once a design has been chosen and tweaked I ask for final numbers of invitations required. I send a final proof by email and once it is approved the order is made. Its is at this point a 50% non refundable deposit is required. The whole process takes around 3 weeks from concept to being delivered. Once the order is ready to post I request the remaining order balance and post out the order. Post normally takes 2-3 days depending on the level of service you pick.
The invitation for sure. It's the first thing anyone sees of your wedding so it has to be just right. It also contains all the information your gust will need. you dont want people contacting you every 5 minutes asking where to park or where to stay or whats on the menu!
Flat Invitations are definitely more popular at the moment and I get asked a lot for watercolour styles.
It's the little touches like your initials on the back of the invite inside a heart or two little love birds sharing a kiss. Cute little touches that don't impact on the design as such.
