What is your most memorable wedding?
As a newlywed couple ourselves, we are biased with our answer here! We got married May 2016, and we produced all of our own wedding stationery, and that's where Big Day Print was born!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Modern, affordable, unique, personalised, bespoke
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our aim is to put you, the happy couple, on paper to give you a truly unique and bespoke product that no one else will have. We don't use any templates at all, so your design is your design, and will not be used for someone elses invitations further down the line
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Ask plenty of questions - the more questions you ask, the more of an idea the supplier will get of what you want to get from them
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Our wedding featured icons of ourselves that we used throughout our stationery!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Our typical process with a client is a general brief of what kind of ideas they have, a quote is then sent to them - once this has been paid, the design team get to work and design the products. We then email the designs over to the clients for amendments or approval, and once its been approved, we print it, package it and send it out to you via a next working day delivery
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
I would say it has to be the Save the Date cards - the design sets the tone of the whole wedding and it also lets people know when the big day is!
What is your best seller?
Our best seller is definitely our wedding invitations - we can cater for bigger weddings where the happy couple wants every piece of wedding stationery to the little, personal weddings where all what the bride and groom want is some wedding invitations
What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?
The most innovative delivery method we've had is a couple who getting married in Cuba had some bespoke wedding invitations made as flight tickets and the save the date cards as passports - the happy couple loved it, the guests loved it and we loved it!
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
We believe that romance comes from showing how happy the future bride and groom are, and what an occasion the day will be.
