What is your most memorable wedding?
I couldn't possibly choose between my favourite Engagement and Wedding Rings, I love them all so much!
I feel so privileged to be able to be a part of so many special moments by creating the perfect piece of jewellery to represent each couple.
Knowing that the rings are one of the only things that will still be around from the wedding day for a long time to come feels like a big responsibility, but also makes me even more keen to add as many special and personal touches to each piece!

What about your business are you most proud of?
Building a business doing something I love, and showing my two young daughters that they are capable of anything they set their minds to!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't worry about trends or the current fashionable thing. Especially when it comes to engagement or wedding rings, as these will last a lot longer than any trend.
Choose what you love and don't worry about anyone else opinions.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when pets get involved at weddings. As an animal lover, nothing makes me smile more than a beloved pet delivering the rings down the aisle - especially when they sometimes get waylaid along the way with all the excitement!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The initial contact from a couple or the person planning a surprise engagement ring is usually over E-Mail. I like to get to know a bit about the couple and what they are after. It's important for me to understand practicalities around jobs and other commitments when designing a ring, as some things just don't work for everyone.
I then take the lead of the client as to how much involvement they would like to have. Some are really interested in having an input at every stage, while others are happier to get an update of the stages and let me get on with it.
The design process usually takes 1-2 weeks to get something to the point of everyone being happy, with production of the piece then taking around 4 weeks from the point of go ahead,
What are your favourite wedding traditions for rings?
I don't think many people have matching wedding rings anymore, and rightly so - you should choose a ring you love, not one your partner loves. However there are always ways we can add a hint of the other ring in the pair into a ring however subtle. A hint of gold on a platinum wedding band, or a hidden birthstone inside the ring are lovely ways to honour your partner.
What is the most romantic engraving you have seen on a wedding ring?
I like it the the couples personality comes out in their messages, rather than the usual wedding date & I love you. It doesn't have to be smushy, I like to see a hint of who the couple are with an inside joke, or cheeky message. It's going to be hidden inside the ring after all, so it can be your secret!
Which ring do you think holds most significance for a bride?
I think the Engagement Ring is always the one with the most significance for the bride. It's quite often the first piece of "proper" jewellery that a bride wears, and usually comes along with a lovely story of the proposal.
What is your favourite proposal story?
My husband would kill me if I didn't say my own! And to be honest I haven't heard many that have beaten it!
I was whisked away on a surprise trip to New York for my birthday, and proposed to at dinner in a lovely restaurant overlooking the Manhattan skyline.
