What is your most memorable wedding?
I have so many favourites! Kelly & Tom's was very special as I was able to make their wedding stationery, the bride's jewellery and headpiece, gifts for all the bridesmaids and and comb and jewellery for the mother of the bride. I'm now getting ready to make her sister's accessories for her wedding next year.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Organic, intricate, beautiful, simple, wearable.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm able to make brides 'feel' amazingly beautiful! Once they put those finishing touches on, they often say that they are 'now ready'! It's an honour to be able to contribute in such a personal way, and I love nothing more than seeing the photographs of how my pieces become part of their wedding story.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy it! I love to see a couple really enjoy their planning. There are so many ideas out there and the pressures from others and the choices can be overwhelming. Stick to things that reflect who you really are, and what you want to communicate about you as a couple on your wedding day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my special memories is of a vintage brooch of Emma's gran. I was able to transform it into a beautiful vintage comb, full of shimmering freshwater pearls and crystals, which we combined with a birdcage veil to wear for the ceremony. She looked amazing on her wedding day and the sentiment of having her gran's precious brooch was so meaningful for Emma and her family.
