What is your most memorable wedding?
There are too many lovely couples to just name one, but the perks of being a bespoke jeweller is that every piece I make is unique for my clients. We have all sorts of requests and the challenge is all part of the fun for us!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Our style is based on individual clients tastes. I work with them all individually to create their perfect piece of jewellery.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The level of quality is highest on our list of accomplishments. We pride ourselves on outstanding pieces of jewellery that will last a lifetime.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your wedding rings are with you forever and you will look at them everyday, so don't scrimp on them if you can!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Generally we book our couples in for a relaxed chat with a coffee or prosecco and I will have created some designs ahead of our meeting. We then finalise the style and design together and if a resin model is needed that is the next step. Once the design is signed off it is down to making and finessing the perfect piece that will be ready to collect in 6 - 8 weeks.
What are your favourite wedding traditions for rings?
We often get asked for engraving of cute sayings or nicknames, and for those who are not so great at remembering dates this is often requested inside the wedding rings.
Which ring do you think holds most significance for a bride?
I think their first love is always the engagement ring, and of course their partner! However a lot of thought goes into our couples wedding rings and ensuring that the women's look like a matching set rather than two individual rings from two different makers (if we haven't made the engagement ring of course!). The wedding ring is there to compliment the engagement ring as well signify that everlasting love.
