Wedding Ring Workshops:
Making your own wedding rings turns planning your big day into a very hands-on experience. In an individual workshop you can spend the day together, making lasting memories along with a pair of wedding rings.
It may sound daunting, but you don’t need to have to have any experience of jewellery making to attend a workshop. I’ll walk you carefully through the whole ring making process, demonstrating everything first on a sample ring. You’ll work on either your own wedding ring or your partners, directly in the final metal.
Wedding Rings can be made in silver, gold or platinum. There are options to make fitted rings, add hammered textures, a matt finish and order stone setting or engraving (which is done after the workshop). It’s even possible to bring family gold along to melt down and include in your new rings.
During a class you have exclusive use of the workshop which is tucked away behind Carbon Gallery on the historic Penryn High Street. Workshops run for one couple at a time so you can select a date to suit you or make a weekend of it by staying locally. Penryn is just down the coast from Falmouth (which is filled with great pubs and places to stay) and across the river from the beautiful Roseland peninsular.
