What is your most memorable wedding?
Each Wedding we are privileged to be a part of is special to me, one of my most memorable is a customer who had a vintage fete as a reception. She styled each part of the day herself and it was just wonderful, it was a pleasure to create both her Engagement and Wedding Rings.

We have recently been crowned 'Jewellery Retailer of the Year' and 'Excellence in Customer Service' in the prestigious 'Chesterfield Retail Awards' along with being awarded 'Highly Commended' in the 'Retailer of the Year' category for the Derbyshire Times Business Awards. The fact that our lovely customers voted for us makes me extremely proud.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be yourselves - always. Don't let anybody pressure you into something you don't like.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
For our Wedding we used a local Honey supplier - Ropers Honey - and had personalised pots of honey (am I allowed to talk about my own Wedding?!)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When we meet the couple we have a chat about their style and plans for their Wedding Day. We ask if they wear an Engagement Ring and if it will be worn alongside the Wedding Ring or on the opposite hand. Usually we choose a time for a complimentary Wedding Consultation where we either choose the couples special Rings or begin the design process.
What are your favourite wedding traditions for rings?
The moment of exchanging the Wedding Rings during the ceremony is my favourite tradition. Knowing that those special rings symbolise an everlasting love brings really warms my heart, the perfect moment before the 'Happily Ever After'.
What is the most romantic engraving you have seen on a wedding ring?
We offer a 'secret engraving' service where we engrave on the inside of the rings. The couple choose a special word or message for each other and keep it as a secret to be revealed when they exchange their rings during the ceremony. If the couple choose to keep the engraving a secret between them, there are only four people in the world that know about that special little message. As for my favourite, I'm not at liberty to say!
Which ring do you think holds most significance for a bride?
I think to begin with the Engagement Ring is the most significant as it symbolises a promise. When our couples are married however, the Wedding Ring takes on the greater significance as it is the ring that is worn constantly.
What is your favourite proposal story?
My absolute favourite story is from a dear customer of ours. As a couple they have been together for 10 years and are so perfectly matched. After each assuming that the other hadn't thought about getting married they were chatting over New Year and realised they both actually did, they just hadn't voiced it out loud. For me the simplicity and the fact that it was meant to be makes this the perfect romantic proposal - destiny.
