What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Planning a wedding is a very intimate process. So you have to able to feel comfortable with your planner, as you and your planner will be on a journey together every step of the way. My advice is do not be afraid to shop until you get the one that you feel most comfortable with. The one that you can click with personality-wise and event vision-wise, will ensure that both you and your planner are on the same page. This will in turn cut down on misunderstandings occurring.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When we get emailed an enquiry, we give the couple a call to find out more details if it has not been provided. From there, we set up a complimentary consultation. At this consultation, we go through with the couple the level of help they need as well as explain how we work and what our processes are.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
For me, every event is unique whether it be helping to plan and/or style weddings, birthdays, baby showers or engagement parties. To see the look of elation and love on a couple’s face on one of the most important moments of their lives, and being able to contribute to that happiness is why I love working on wedding projects. Personality wise, I am a people person and that’s another reason I love working in events as we get to meet all kinds of amazing clients and vendors. From private parties to helping to arrange team away days, I get inspired by the people I meet and work with.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The first look - when the couple see each other as well as their venue for the first time.
