All my weddings are memorable, but possibly my wedding with Jaivir and Anne, where I had a bespoke Sari made for me all the way from India, and I read a small part of the script in Punjabi and French.
Fun, Creative, Professional, Personable, Stylish
The creative elements and ideas that I can bring to my couples whether a wedding or vow renewal ceremony.
Create a plan, and always make notes when visiting suppliers
From myself, it is the ability to make sure whatever the style or culture of wedding, that I embrace and include these in any way that I can.
First, we arrange to meet whether this is in person or via a video call, so that I can listen to your visions for your day, and then to advise you of what I can offer to add to make your ceremony unique and personal to you both in my own special way. Once a booking is made, I will guide you every step of the way, making sure that the journey is full of fun and laughter along the way.
It has to be for a multi-cultural wedding, where I was asked if I would speak some of the ceremony in French and Punjab, of which I was only too happy to learn and try... apparently I did really well and they understood me!
. It is all about keeping the couple included and in touch at all times. I always get there on the day at least an hour before so that I can if possible, speak to the Bride and then I mingle with the family and friends, and put the groom or partner at ease so that when the ceremony begins, everyone is familiar with who I am, and the bride is at ease and sees a familiar face when walking down the aisle.
Always set a budget and stick to it
It is when the couple set eyes on each other for the first time on their wedding day, then they turn to me, with big smiles on their faces, and I smile back in a reassuring way, to confirm 'we got this!'
