I'd love to help you create a ceremony that feels completely yours. Whether you're dreaming of a beautifully rustic celebration in a country barn, a simple gathering in a quiet forest, or something grand in a historic venue, we can make that happen together. Your ceremony is the heart of your wedding day. Together we'll make sure that it really tells your story as a couple.
It all starts with a friendly chat about your initial ideas and your vision for the ceremony. Don't worry if you're unsure to begin with. I'll be there to offer guidance if you need it. We'll talk about your story as a couple, choose music, discuss traditions and elements that are important to you and craft your vows.
With every wedding ceremony I write, I aim to get as close to perfect first time as possible. However, I’m not precious. If there are things you want me to add, change or re-work, that’s fine. We’ll tweak it so that it’s just right for you. I'll send you the first draft, we'll meet to discuss any amendments you want and then I'll re-draft it for you in the light of our discussions.
I'll do a venue visit to familiarise myself with your chosen location and to get to know any staff you'll also have been working with. Not every venue can accommodate a rehearsal and not every couple wants one. However, it's a great opportunity to run through the technical parts of the ceremony, freeing you up to focus on each other and enjoy the day. I only book one wedding per day. On your day, I'm your celebrant.
Your booking includes our planning meetings, a venue visit, rehearsal and, of course, the writing and celebrancy at your wedding.
I’ll arrive early to ensure your ceremony all runs smoothly. I’ll be there for you, coordinating with others, giving pep talks to anyone who might need them and enabling you to enjoy your experience. And finally, I’ll conduct your bespoke ceremony, setting the tone for your happy day and the many years beyond.
Warm Approachable Professional Calming Empathetic
I'm most proud that I have the opportunity to work with and support people at such important moments in their lives.
Stay calm, take your time and listen to each other.
I'm a huge music lover, so I always enjoy the weaving of meaningful pieces of music into a ceremony.
We'll start with a friendly chat. Trust and rapport are really important from the beginning of our journey together, so communication is key.
We'll sit down and go through everything together as a team. I'll take an attentive, responsive and empathetic approach as we talk about your story as a couple, choose music, discuss traditions and elements that are important to you, and craft your vows. Don't worry if you're unsure at this stage, though. I'll be there to offer ideas and guidance if you need them.
Your ceremony will be a unique, bespoke expression of your love for one another. The greatest stories aren't from templates, so we won't let your ceremony come from one, either.

When the day of the ceremony arrives, I'll be there for you, coordinating with the venue and your wedding party. I'll give pep talks to anyone who might need them, be a warm, calming, and assured presence, and enable you to enjoy your experience.
Finally, I'll conduct your bespoke ceremony, setting the tone for the rest of your happy days and the continuation of your story in the many years to come.
The vows are the heart of a wedding ceremony. They allow the couple to truly show themselves to each other. Whether they're creative, heartfelt, honest, straightforward, flowery or grand, they're your opportunity to make a commitment to each other in front of those who are most important to you.
