£375 - £499

I offer three clear price structures based on the type of wedding day. Butler Noir (£375) is for twilight weddings on any day. Butler Semaine (£375) covers weekday weddings from Monday to Thursday. Butler Classique (£499) is for full‑day weddings from Friday to Sunday. All include calm hosting, modern toastmaster/MC support, timeline coordination and guest care.

The perfect day

Rik is absolutely amazing! A huge help during the planning process and didn't mind any 'stupid' questions he was always happy to share how things had worked in his experience and then on the day it was over to him. He dealt with all suppliers in the background and any problems were solved long before they reached me while ! was getting ready with my bridesmaids. His service was flawless throughout, there are no other words, if anything needed doing it was done in a heartbeat and took all worry and stress away from me and my mum. He took time to help us feel relaxed and the whole day was perfect - like a swan gliding over the water as its legs paddle furiously beneath the surface - Rik is the swans legs - amazing man, amazing service

Simply the best most awesome butler

Wow, where do I start with Richard!

He was absolutely amazing from start to finish and that isn’t just on the day! He was at the other end of the phone whenever I needed him throughout the planning stages, he contacted ALL my suppliers and liaised with them on how to make the running of the day so smooth. We were pretty chilled and also had no idea how anything worked so he was definitely provided vital information and a bank of knowledge. Having Richard there to help was a Blessing

Having Richard there to help on our wedding day was such a blessing. We had a church wedding and it was lovely to have someone on hand who knew exactly what was going on and when it needed to happen. Teaching our guests the correct way to throw confetti! Richard ensured that everything flowed and guests were rounded up when needed. The link between toasts was also lovely. I knew that I had nothing to worry about with Richard on hand, which is just what I needed as I we had our 11 week old baby

Rik was an absolutely invaluable addition to our wedding day. He was my peace of mind. I could trust that things would run smoothly and that everything would be taken care of with him there. So I could just relax, be the bride and enjoy our wedding. The little attentions to detail from him were wonderful, the genuine smile he has because he cares about you having the best day and also because he loves his job, and his wealth of experience in working with all of the suppliers. Honestly, every single wedding! Memorable moments include my Bride and Groom having a private dance to the string quartet while their guests went to dinner, The groom wiping his bride's happy tears, and sharing a prayer with the bride and her father

When you start to plan - describe your wedding as though it just happened. This will highlight the overall style that you want - trust me, it works!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Tambourines! Lauren and Wayne put a personalised tambourine out for every guest so that when they entered the reception...well, you can guess the rest!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once you have booked me for your wedding day, I am at the end of a phone anytime you need some help or advice. Shortly before the day we will talk through the plan for the day, and then on the day - leave it to me! I'll be there with you and there for you all day

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

I've certainly had some "moments" at weddings - the surprise carnival dancers, the food truck that couldn't get through the gateway, being told with zero notice that I was compering a show by the families. Each is greeted with a smile and a "no problem" while using my 35 years of experience to come up with a solution or to adapt. And I did, each time!

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

That's my job! For you - just relax and enjoy the day. Things might not go to plan, but don't overthink it. It doesn't matter if the silver candles aren't in the chapel (true story!). Let me deal with everything so you don't have to worry about anything

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Helping a couple to have the fun, romantic and memorable wedding of their dreams

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

Making sure that the couple get some time to themselves. Its my privilege to be able to arrange this, and to see some of the more intimate "bask stage" moments (not THOSE intimate moments!!!)
