Oh this one is easy - father of the bride was running late to walk his daughter down the aisle, so he turned up in an army helicopter walked her down and then flew off to the wedding breakfast.

Take time out, take at least 30 minutes time out at some stage in the day to reflect your day.

its your day not theirs - i have had plenty of brides and grooms who have been a complete mess due to family members trying to control their day. The day belongs to the bride and groom, bride and bride or groom and groom, either way your day is your day.

I had organised a wedding where the ceremony was being held outside and then after they would move to a clear span marquee. Unfortunately 30 mins before the bride would arrive, the heavens opened. So my solution was to create 1/4 of the marquee into a ceremony area, bring the outside in.

We would initially have a consultation at the beginning to see if we click. I am a believer that couples have to click with their planner and the planner has to click with them.

No wedding is unusual as each couple has their own way.

Because I am planning it :0) - I take the stress, couples don't need to feel it unless they HAVE to
