Hello and congratulations on your engagement! 🎉
I’m Suzie, a wedding celebrant and marriage officer with Celebrants Scotland. First of all, I have to say… I might just have the best job in the world! ❤️
Planning your wedding is such an exciting time, and I can only imagine how thrilling it must be to start this beautiful journey. As someone who’s completely in love with love (I’ve even married my wife twice — and we might just do it again 😉), I feel so incredibly lucky to be part of your celebration.
I specialise in creating personalised, meaningful ceremonies that truly reflect your unique love story. Whether you're dreaming of an intimate gathering with just your closest loved ones or a grand celebration with all your friends and family, I will craft the perfect ceremony for you — filled with warmth, humour, and care.
I’ve spent 35 years as a nurse, so I know how to connect with people and help calm any nerves that might pop up. Plus, with a wee bit of a stand-up comedy in my past , I absolutely love infusing humour into the ceremony (if that’s your thing)! No more “boring” weddings — your ceremony will be the fun, unforgettable start to your special day. 🎤❤️
I’d love to chat with you and learn more about what you envision for your big day. It’s important to find a celebrant who truly gets you, just like finding the one you’ll spend forever with! So, let’s have a no-obligation conversation and see if we’re a perfect match for your celebration. 💕
Looking forward to hearing from you
With love,
Suzie ❤️

The relationships I build with all the couples I work with
It is your wedding. Everyone will have an opinion but include the things you want, not just what you think is expected. Go with the suppliers you vibe with the most as they will create your dream wedding for you. And on the day, wee things might go wrong but it won't stop your wedding from being the best day of your life.... ask me what happened on my wedding day 😉
I recently was at a wedding where the couple had their mums as surprise witnesses. That was lovely and the mums were genuinely shocked and so touched to be part of signing the marriage schedule
When a couple get in touch I will reach out with an email and WhatsApp then follow up with a phone call to introduce myself. If we vibe then I set up a video call to have a longer chat to hear all about the wedding. This is no obligation but if the couple wants to work with me they pay an initial booking fee to secure me for their date. I then set up a WhatsApp group for the 3 of us which is your wedding chat....a place to ask questions, share how the planning is going and even ask for recommendations. I send every couple a wedding pack with loads of useful information around the legal things to do as well as sample vows and wedding traditions. I also include a questionnaire which is all about you as a couple which helps me get to know you. If your wedding is a while away I'll check in every few weeks but you can get in touch with me at any time. As you get to about 6 months out I'm in more regular contact and we will have a couple of ceremony planning meetings in person although I can do video calls if you're a bit further away. Together we create your perfect ceremony. I also will keep you right with the legal side of things and send you prompts for submitting your M10s. On the big day itself I get to your venue about 90 minutes before it is due to start (and likely another hour in the car park as I like to be early😉) and I will check in on you both and calm any nerves. I'm there throughout to offer support and guidance from booking me until you walk back down the aisle ❤️
Oh so many..... favourite music lyrics into the vows, starting the ceremony by doing a quote from a film, wearing cowboy boots for a country music themed wedding, being an impromptu toast master, not being terrified as an owl flies in with the rings, wading through a river to get to a wee island, falling over a fence and being judged by sheep.... keep 'em coming as I love quirky
I build trust with all my couples so they have one less thing to worry about
Everything. It is genuinely the most joyful job in the world ❤️
