We begin with a no obligation chat so you can decide if I’m the right celebrant for you. If I make it through auditions, I’ll send you some questions to spark ideas about how you met, what you love about each other, what perhaps you don’t love about each other, it's the loveliest homework you'll ever do! We'll discuss your answers at what I call the Big Chat. This takes place ~3 months before the ceremony and last 2-3 hours. We'll also go over what wedding logistics we can. Afterwards I'll draft a ceremony and then we will edit it together.
We end up with a ceremony that reflects your relationship, whether it includes rituals, readings, or bilingual elements. It’s all about making it feel like you.
Absolutely. I have included Jewish glass breaking ceremonies (Mazel tov!), handfastings for couples with Celtic roots and a bilingual French/English ceremony with some bonus Bulgarian. I will work with you to weave in traditions or languages that matter to you, ensuring they fit seamlessly into your ceremony.
Yes, I offer a wedding rehearsal either in person or online. We will gather everyone involved readers, parents, ring bearers etc to go over movements and timing. I will also have you read your vows to me as well and I'm happy to coach any nervous readers.
I understand that not everyone might be able to attend. If this is the case I will make it a priority to speak with them on the day of the ceremony, as well as checking in with everyone else to make sure everyone is calm, excited to go and hydrated!
I coordinate closely with photographers, venues and musicians to ensure everything runs seamlessly. I arrive around an hour before the ceremony to check cues with everyone and sightlines with photographers, as well as positioning to make sure everyone is getting captured on their best sude.
You can relax and enjoy your day, we've got this.
