A wedding celebration enables you to have the perfect moment, the way you want it, where you want it. My couples tell me I'm very good at listening and helping them to create a ceremony that perfectly reflects who they are, and what's important to them. I'll be pleased to help you find the right words and the right music. If involving your family, your friends, your pets, is important, then yes, we can do that. Whether you want to include prayers or blessings, or would rather just have a secular ceremony with no reference to faith, either is fine. I always suggest a no obligation chat (zoom or face to face) so we can find out more about each other, and you can decide if you'd like me to take your ceremony. I will show you draft terms and conditions, explain how much my fee will be and what is included. If you're happy to go ahead, I ask for £100 deposit. After that, we'll have an initial meeting where we'll work out the brief, I'll send you a note to outline what we've agreed and what you and I need to do by when. I'll draft the service for you, and give you plenty of time to make changes, until you know it's just how you want it. I'm available to meet or have a call any time, if you have queries or we need to work through any of the details. On the day, I'll be there in good time, make sure everything is set up and check in with both of you to settle any nerves. And then, I'll lead you through a very special ceremony, one which you and your guests will remember for all the right reasons. Afterwards, I'll give you a keepsake copy of the service, printed on and bound with handmade paper, something I hope you'll cherish and look back on fondly. If you're celebrating a marriage, then you need to remember this isn't a legal marriage, but this is a lovely way to celebrate a marriage in a way that's far more personal and unique than a registry office is likely to allow.
An outdoor wedding, next to a lake, with a beautiful teepee reception, where the rings were carried (beautifully I have to say) by the couple's dog.
Friendly, gentle, eloquent, warm, simple
when my couples tell me how comfortable they felt with me and how I captured exactly what they wanted
Never forget it's about the two of you!
Friends being invited to speak during the ceremony, explaining why they love this couple so much, giving them their blessing and promise of friendship

A quintessential English country wedding at lunchtime, followed by a Sri Lankan poruwa ceremony in the evening, reflecting the couple's family heritage.
get the brief right at the start, listen very carefully, be really efficient and plan ahead, make sure I've spoken to anyone else involved in making the day go like clockwork, and having a cool head as and when anything crops up. And always keep a smile on my face :)
meeting such interesting people and helping make the whole experience go smoothly. Often one of the couple is a bit nervous or unsure, after all not everyone enjoys being in the limelight. I really enjoy building a trusting relationship with them so that, on the day, they feel comfortable and enjoy it.
one of my lovely grooms pulling out personalised handkerchiefs for him and his bride ... he obviously knew she would cry with joy throughout the ceremony x
