Rusty Lime is about whatever sustainability means to you. Whether you’re an eco‑warrior, occasional conscious consumer or simply looking for a value‑driven events planner, then you’ve come to the right place. Born from planning my sister’s wedding and a career in sustainability, Rusty Lime was created to deliver truly eco‑friendly celebrations, free from preaching and greenwashing. 

Planning with purpose can feel overwhelming - but it doesn’t have to be. By working with Rusty Lime, you'll overcome the biggest barriers to a sustainable celebration: time, knowledge and experience. With 8+ years in sustainability and events, I understand what it really takes to go green. We’ll cut through the jargon and create a wedding that reflects your style and priorities. 

Packages

Rusty Lime offers a range of bespoke packages which are tailored to your needs both financial and where you are on your eco‑journey. Whilst every package is different, we work around the following three options: 

‘Pay as you Wed’ - Our ‘pay as you go’ service offers a flexible and personalised approach to creating your dream sustainable wedding. Instead of adhering to a one‑size‑fits‑all checklist, we are here to advise and support on whatever you need and no matter how close the wedding date is. Whether you need someone to take out the legwork on researching organic florists, an expert to organise catering or source dresses, or sort out eco‑friendly wedding favours, this package allows you to manage costs as you go. ‘Pay as you Wed’ is our popular eco‑helpline to give you a planning boost. We celebrate the fact that every sustainable adjustment has an impact (big or small). We’ll start with two kick‑start calls (£85 for two hours). All services are then priced at £50 per hour, when and as you like.

‘Conscious Cupid’ - Part‑planning with purpose. This package gives you tailored support across key elements of your wedding while allowing you to take the lead. Whether it’s helping shape your sustainable vision, supporting supplier decisions, or refining logistics, Conscious Cupid combines expert guidance with your creative direction to make planning easier and more intentional. 

‘Wedded to Sustainability’ - The full planning experience. With this option, Rusty Lime works alongside you from initial concept through to delivery — weaving sustainability into every decision. This includes creative direction, supplier research, budgeting support, logistical planning, and on‑the‑day coordination so you can enjoy your celebration without compromise.

These packages are designed to give you support whether you’re planning long‑term or need last‑minute assistance, ensuring sustainability doesn’t feel out of reach no matter your timeframe. Rusty Lime works with any style or size of wedding, helping couples wherever they are on their eco‑journey and tailoring each celebration to reflect individual values and priorities. I take only a handful of couples each year to ensure each wedding receives my full attention and a truly personalised approach. While many celebrations are based in and around the London area, I’m also happy to discuss options for events further afield.

About me

In coming to Rusty Lime, you’re coming to me: Katie (hello!) An enthusiastic multi-tasker who loves finding new ways to be green and goes above and beyond for family, friends, colleagues and clients. 

I’ve been passionate about sustainability for as long as I can remember. The same goes for my joy of designing and planning events. I’ve spent the last eight years dedicating my time to combining these two loves and since 2024, I've supported 5 couples get married sustainably.
