Ruby B Ceremonies - Celebrant

Ruby was amazing from start to finish. We had a couple of video chats at the start, and told her our story. We had a little practice run at the venue the day before which put everyone at ease and made sure we all knew our parts on the day. Then the big day came, the ceremony had just the right balance of love story, humour and emotion....all the guests loved it! We finished the ceremony with a hand fasting which was a perfect way to wrap things up (pardon the pun). Highly recommended!! Andy and Natalie

Ruby was warm on our first meeting which is just what I needed as it was nerve racking. She went through everything in detail and took the time to learn peoples names and involved them so beautifully on the day. Nothing was too much or too little for Ruby. She always messaged back with calming helpful words when I was the other end of the phone stressing over little details. On the day I felt rushed up to the aisle as my husband said he was going to look at me as soon as I got to the door. However Ruby suggested to him not to look till I was at a nice distance and then she said he could look and I could see his expression on his face. I’d been so excited for the day I didn’t cry about it. Then trust me nothing but happy tears on the day as Ruby read out our memories of how we first met and how well we get on. There were funny parts in there too and it was wonderful how my children were involved in the hand tie part. Everyone who came said how it was such a beautiful ceremony and how good Ruby was. Me and my husband both recommend Ruby, a very organised pleasant person. Thank you Ruby. And if you’re thinking of using someone as a Celebrant, search no more. Just drop her a message. From the first meeting with Ruby we knew we wanted her to be our celebrant! She has a wonderful way with words and most importantly, it feels personal! From the outset she explained everything to us and gave us all our options for the service, as well as bits of advice during the planning process. She prioritised getting to know us through chats over Skype - which bridged the gap in time between booking and the big day. With Ruby finding out so much about us, the words she spoke at our ceremony meant so much more, they weren't coming from a stranger or someone who assumed what we were like as people, she knew who we were as individuals but also as a couple. The majority of our guests had never been to a "non church wedding" before and they all loved Ruby and the ceremony we'd put together with her (we had a few readings, a hand fasting and a tree planting). So many people commented on how wonderful she was. Our wedding went perfectly and Ruby was the first part of it all so got us off to a great start! If we ever renew our vows, she'll be the first person we call! *5 STARS*. Tom & Kristy

Ant and I would like to extend a huge thank you to you for being our brilliant celebrant! The ceremony was all that we’d hoped for and more: personal, intimate, unique and special. We absolutely loved it! It seems our guests agreed too, as we’ve lost count of the number of relatives and friends who’ve told us it was the best ceremony they’ve ever witnessed in their lives! Ruby has been absolutely FANTASTIC in helping make our wedding such a wonderful and special day to both of us and to all our guests. We had several meeting over the course of the year, all very informal yet concise. We both were a little ‘clueless’ in how things should be done and Ruby very professionally helped us find what worked for us. This was the most beautiful day of our lives. everything was perfect, weather, guests and the ceremony. Ruby was fantastic. The service far exceeded our expectations. Ruby was amazing- she made sure that she really got to know my husband and I so that she could make the ceremony personal and meaningful. She did a great job at putting together the ceremony; added the right amount of personal touches, and made sure everybody’s readings were in the right place.
