Who We Are
RLA Coordination is a wedding coordination service for couples who can’t wait to plan their wedding but don’t want to focus on the practical details on the day. With over 4 years of experience working in Weddings & Events, we love what we do, getting to know couples and sharing our insights, to help your day run as smoothly as possible.
Hiring a coordinator is about taking the pressure off yourself and your wedding party. Instead of having to remember all those details you’ve spent hours planning, you can hand it all over and focus on being present with your loved ones (and your friends and family get to do the same)!
What We Offer
We offer on-the-day wedding coordination, overseeing everything from ceremony to first dance. We meet your suppliers, make sure you and your bridal party are in the right place at the right time and solve problems behind the scenes to keep your day running smoothly.
We also support couples throughout the planning process when making those practical decisions that can feel ‘make or break’ - offering friendly, expert advice from someone who understands what really makes a difference on the day.
Leaving RLA Coordination to look after the details of your day means you get to focus on being present, surrounded by your loved ones and enjoying the result of all your hard work.
Our Package
To keep things simple, we offer one comprehensive package, which includes all the essentials for us to be able to run your wedding day as smoothly as possible. We'll meet with you at key moments in your planning process so that we can coordinate your wedding effortlessly, through the lens of what's most important to you. Whilst you’re having fun planning all the details, you can reach out to us if you want help making a practical decision or if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything and just want to know where to start.
On the day, we’ll arrive up to 3 hours before your ceremony to help you with your final bits of prep, checking your venue has been set up to your plans and making sure you feel ready to walk down the aisle. Throughout the day we’ll support you by:
- Being the key contact for suppliers and liaising with venue staff so you don’t have to.
- Helping you and your wedding party know where they need to be and when.
- Overseeing your ceremony including the entrance of the wedding party.
- Keeping your day running smoothly, and as close to your schedule as possible.
- Helping with buttonholes, lighting candles and many more things behind the scenes…
We’ll then stay until your first dance, or around 8PM (unless you want us to stay later!).

What is a wedding coordinator?
Unlike a wedding planner who oversees the whole planning process from start to finish, a coordinator focuses on outworking everything on the day once you’ve planned it. We come in towards the end of the planning process and manage the detailed logistics and timings to ensure that your plans are fully realised on the day.
We liaise with the venue and suppliers, make sure people are in the right place at the right time and solve problems behind the scenes to keep the day running smoothly.
As well as on-the-day coordination, RLA offers support throughout the planning process, so our services are ideal for those who want a bit of help and guidance when planning their wedding. It’s a more affordable option than full planning services and is ideal for those with a tighter budget or those who want to keep control of the wedding planning but don’t want to worry about it on the day.
Why can't I ask a friend to do it? What about the venue?
Some venues don’t come with a venue manager, in which case having a wedding coordinator can be incredibly helpful (we’d argue it’s essential!).
If they do, your venue manager will have a lot of other things to think about on the day, including guest management, catering & venue logistics. Their role is to host your wedding but not to look after those smaller details that matter to you.
And sure, you can ask one of your nearest and dearest to do it, but I can confidently say that they won’t enjoy the day in the same way as being free of responsibility. Let them focus on having fun and taking care of you so that you can enjoy making memories together.
What's included in your package?
- Initial meeting prior to communicating your timeline to your venue
- Practical advice & support via email or WhatsApp throughout the planning process
- Meeting 6 weeks prior to your wedding day to discuss your plans in detail and gather all the information we need.
- On-the-day Coordination - arrival up to 3 hours before your ceremony until after your first dance (around 8PM).
- Return Travel within 15 miles of Birmingham
Will you be at my wedding rehearsal?
I’d love to come! For most weddings, it’s not essential and isn’t included in our standard package.
However, it can be helpful, especially if you’re planning something more unique for your ceremony or if there is something specific you want us to do during the ceremony. Additional fees will apply and will be dependent upon location and duration.
Who will be there on the day?
I currently coordinate all weddings myself (as long as I’m not ill!) but for larger/more complex weddings or multiple venues, I may require an additional coordinator in order to ensure that we can provide the same level of service across the day.
If this is necessary, we will let you know as soon as possible so that we can discuss the options with you.
Do you offer any discounts?
For elopements or if you have less than 40 guests reduced rates may apply so please do get in touch so we can chat through your requirements.
For 2026 weddings, we are currently offering a 20% discount off the package price.
