Hello! I’m Lisa, my pronouns are she/her and I’m a queer celebrant. I simply love a wedding ceremony. As cheesy as it sounds, that’s the truth of it. I believe that all queer couples who want to have a ceremony to celebrate their love, should be able to, as their authentic selves both as a couple and as individuals.
For me a ceremony should be a representation of the couple, who they are together and who they are apart. It should be full of authenticity and genuine emotion, whatever this looks like - whether it manifests itself in laughter, tears or a smile so wide it makes your jaw ache.
I love working with queer couples so their ceremony can be as personal to them as they want it to be. It can incorporate the elements and personal touches that are right for you, after all it is your ceremony, your commitment to each other and it’ll be your memory to hold on to for the rest of your lives.
I also love working with couples who may not be part of the queer community but who have queer family and friends and want to ensure their wedding ceremony is truly inclusive and welcoming of them too.
